Dailies aren't equivalent to to tickets. They're less valuable, since you can only get 7 and it's assumed you'll already use them all.
Tickets can be used freely and hoarded for specific banners, making them worth at least 300-350.

Secondly, you don't have to bring him down. As long as the esper is the last hit it counts, even if it's overkill damage.

Have your friend unit be a strong Orlandeau, buff them, then have them use Odin. I've got Lilly's Lando to deal 101k with Odin after giving him a 100% buff from Zargabaath.

Here's what I do and it's worked every time.
1) Ready Diabolos (worked with Ifrit too, so hopefully any esper will do)
2) Ready the killing blow (usually a Divine Ruination from a friendlandu)
3) Click esper
4) Watch cutscene
5) As soon as cutscene ends and you're back in control, hit the killing blow
The monster will die and the esper attack will land as part of the overkill damage, which counts.

Thanks, last time I got a relic that I actually wanted was when Laguna's BSB got released, so getting it on the second attempt feels rather nice.

Provoke doesn't work with berserk.
Without evade or a full team of tanks, a unit IS going to die every turn to the autos. But 90% of the time they don't switch targets, so usually it's just the one.

It can be very hard to stabilize, even if you only need to kill them once now.

Alright, so it was:
Agrias (BSB)
Relm (SSB, BSB, USB,)
Celes (SSB, BSB1, OSB)
Fran (BSB)
Ramza (Shout)
My RW was Celes BSB2, which I had Ramza use. Relm used her BSB twice and USB at the end when I got hit by a dispel and had to DPS race. Celes used her BSB twice and her OSB at the end. Ramza and Agrias used their only SBs multiple times. Had much more damage RMs on everyone but Relm who had something shitty like small amount of mind up with a staff. Synergy gear was High Summoner's Staff on Relm and Seymour's Robes on...Agrias, I think?

I used the strategy of weakening the right arm and then going for the body to kill both on the same turn. But it was mostly because I don't know how strong the right arm gets after the body was dead. Since I have Wilhelm and Rikku I would just pound at the body first if I had to fight him again.
The basic strategy was that Luneth was the character with highest attack, so after he got auto-ressed I used Wilhelm's provoke to direct the killing attack to him. So that's two auto-ress with one Rikku LB, so she only has to LB every two turns instead of in every turn. The only problem with this is that Wilhelm has an innate 50% provoke, so the beam might go for him instead of Luneth even if you didn't use his provoke.
Also, both Orlandus were equiped with Rain's greatsword for better chaining, and Luneth is a beastly finisher. I also didn't bother to hit Aigaion with water during tresholds.
One situation that was very common was Rikku having LB ready but Wilhelm/Luneth were dead and the Orlandus were at low HP, meaning that if I wanted to use the LB I would have to use Tillith to ress instead of healing the Orlandus/Luneth, but then I remembered that Orlandu has a HP drain attack and Luneth had acess to Lance from esper.
Overall it was a rather clumsy strategy but hey it worked.

By the way, when only the left arm was left I invoked Ramuh but it didn't use the counter skill for some reason.

Just remember to pay attention to the attacks Aigaion is using. If you see "The light is concentrating" it means he is going to use World Destroyer next turn. Avoid letting it kill both Tilith and Rikku when they have no auto-ress. Use a water attack in that situation if needed (I bought fish scales, but Rikku has a water attack too).
