I was bored, so I tried to figure out how much an Inkling would weigh compaired to a human. According to the bare minimum of effort, a google search, bones make up about 15% of a human's weight. But skeletal muscle, which Inklings also wouldn't have, makes up between 30% and 50%. Taking the avarage there means an Inkling would weigh about 45% as much as an otherwise identical human. I'd have to be careful not to hurt her during Sex with Marie!
Though, I'd welcome any biologist who wants to tell me I'm a fucking idiot. I'd like to get an opinion from someone who actually knows shit about this.

I think they are inconsistent. I feel that Pearl is supposed to be sort of bubbly and energetic but the way they phrase what she says is so different every time. It makes her feel that she has no character.
And I feel that they have tired to make Marina into a super Marie by making her try and insult Pearl in every chance she get's. It doesn't even suit her character I don't think.

Yes, the in-game shops refresh daily, you can also buy gear off players and there's the store in the phone where you can purchase gear with different abilities there.

Handheld mode is pretty neat. I can't aim nearly as well, so my playstyle changes more to turf management & defense. I don't even bother with the right joystick, all gyro. I'm like 5-2 so far, comfy in bed.

I did it because of completionism. You don't get much. I only upgraded my ink amount as that's the only universal thing. But even then you get the other orb things at such a slow rate it isn't as though you can buy everything without grinding.

Goal 1 is to get to fresh level 4 and unlock litterally the whole game. Get some basic clothes with percs you like, get a prefered weapon for yourself, and get back online. For now do salmon runs since theyre limited online events, but once its over, start grinding online and get ore money and levels to get more weapons.
