Brotherly reminder that a game which lacks strong zoning, is a game not worth playing.

Brotherly reminder that SFV and T7 are identically lamentable. Both games have horrendous input lag, terrible online experience, a lack of character variety, long and artificial load times, and sparse on features. Promoting either of these games weakens the fighting game community.

Brotherly reminder that Dragonball FighterZ will be a poorly crafted fighter with abysmal space control, awful movement when compared to the Marvel series, lack of assist variety, and no appreciable character archetype diversity. Just because it's not Capcom doesn't mean it won't be bad. If you have to constantly compare yourself to current Capcom to make a game sound good, then it's a shit game.

Brotherly reminder that Steam's concurrent player count for SFV is inflated.

In KOF 14, is Geese overpowered or broken?

Geese is my main, he's really fun to play, but a friend says he's a little broken because he doesn't seem to have any flaws in his gameplay.

Extremely good counters, strong rekkas, fullscreen fireballs and great air fireballs, an OTG, great air normals, the easiest 80+ percent damage combo in the game (in corner air hk, hp, toward lp xx rekka xx EX final reppuken, raging storm, OTG).

What does /fgg/ think of Geese? Is he broken? Or does he have flaws that we're missing?

Rising Thunder died because the updates were slow and really fucking minor or just balance changes. Instead of introducing new characters, stages, etc it was the same shit for hours on end in a game that was meant to be extremely basic and with very few players taking advantage of that fact. It definitely brought in new players, just not enough content to hold them long enough for the playerbase to cultivate itself.

If RIOT makes a game I guarantee it will not be developed or marketed in the same way. That shit will be front and center with like 20 characters in the first build.

May has really good buttons you can abuse and hot online tactics you can do with dolphins/random whales. Generally, you want to use ball/dolphin setups to get space control then smack them when they over extend and ensenga them into a hard knock down and get your setup going again.
You can also be a fag and go for ambigious crossups all day with j2H, which then can net you a good combo with some meter.

Stuff you can do on wake up is pretty fun, with the right setup, I'm pretty sure you can combo off her overhead either that or I got scammed by someone and don't remember right. Also use them to set up tick throws, overhead kiss doesn't seem as good as it was in XX but its still good and the threat of any command grab works good to messing with your opponent.

Third Strike is a meme, so a couple 3S characters who didn't show up in Ultra (Alex, Urien) are fan favorites among people who don't play even though they're pretty dull characters in terms of playstyle.
