In other news, here's Shadow. He's got his proper run cycle, the yellow aura, the whole package. Just for fun, I put some point lights on his skates so they light up a little bit. In Version 4.0 of the kit, if you want to make Shadow faster than Sonic, as Sonic Battle would imply, then that's all up to you.

I have a Sonic cast at my fingertips already, so I'd be able to act as voice director. It doesn't "need" them, but the fact remains that the comics are a nice bit of exposure and side change that they're worth keeping around for that virtue.

Even if games hit a bit of a hiatus, the comics can keep things going for a bit due to unresolved plotlines and keep it in the public's eye until things pick up once more.

Imagine how bad off the series would be if we didn't have Boom Season 2 and the comics. It would have been "Here's a game announcement for 2+ years down the road for Mania and Forces!" and yeah, that would be pretty devestating for this brand.
