-all characters have used Street Fighter fonts for introducing new challengers as well as the PS1 announcer for EX
-Running on UE4

A: A good guy, who will probably wear something similar to the other active Good Guys, with the exception of Piccolo, who always wears the same thing
B: A bad guy, which will have a different appearance, but die, meaning we only see them for one arc most of the time.
In theory, everyone is differentiated by fighting style and competence, but it looks samey when people shoot Ki.

I'm starting to realize that I really don't care for guilty gear. I thought I was going to grind it out hard for frosty faustings and get really into it but the game is just lame to me. Dial combos, negative penalty, fucking danger time, massive buffer, slow walkspeed and braindead rushdown. Maybe if XX or accent core was still the main game, idk. 1. They think you won't expect it
2. They notice you're afraid to challenge their button presses and are stuck in block-only mode for a little while

So people will try to make you afraid to press buttons and then throw when you least expect it. Of course you can learn to see the pattern of "oh this guy is trying to get me to stay blocking by doing his billion hit blockstring, then when I expect it to continue he will just walk up and throw"

SFV is fucked but in any game you eventually learn when people are most likely to throw. If you only throw in corners or don't think you tech enough, start attempting more throws even if you have to force yourself. You'll learn when to throw and when not to throw, good players will punish you and bad players will give you free positioning. Over longer sets or longer experience against characters you might start recognizing setups that involve throws so you can either jump to avoid or throw tech. When someone says "nice tech" they mean nice read, not that it was reacted.

Cammy is simple, blocking low and you are safe against divekicks and the grab won't work.
Akuma is a completely different story, he has the over head option that will hit and know you down if you're crouched, his divekick can cross-up, his EX demonflip divekick gives him a Full combo and can also crossup, his EX demonflip can also hit you from behind even from up close, there's no comparison, pray that you don't find a good akuma.
