Just make sure you can do at least one off of every launcher and CH launcher. Most will end up being the same off of most launchers anyways

You only need one combo for every situation. You should know what to end with for the situation you want more than anything. Like adjusting your combo for more distance to get a wall hit or how to break a wall or a floor. 90% of the time, you can do just fine with good movement and 1 midscreen combo and get decent wall combos and favorable oki.

So, memorized? Maybe about 6 at most and you should be getting 60-80 damage ideally. 58 for the characters with "low damage"

50-55 is more than enough at the beginning, just find a few cheap strings for every launch even accidental ones you can mash out.

Once you to juggling you can start learning the proper ones.

60-70 damage depending on character. You want to be able to pul them off, though. For example, King has absurdly hard ff1 combos that do tons of damage but are very difficult to do consistently and do pathetic damage if dropped, so you're better off doing the combos that only do like ~60 but that you know you won't drop.

You should have a confirm memorized off of every starter you could possibly land; fortunately you can reuse a lot of it. Then you have to know what to do after your opponent hits the wall mid-combo.

Start by learning one you can do off of your character's i15 punisher, and use it for whiff punishes too. Then find one from a quick CH move, and one from a low.

Also, honestly, just look for combos other have found at this point until you learn the game better.

Someone tell me what character to play for a week. I will report back with genbu rank at least with that character. Gimme a 5.

Here is a Basic Bitch Combo Guide.
Literally applicable to all characters so pay attention.

1. Launcher: Just launch them up
2. Look at the move list and see which moves have the green icon. Use ones of those immediately.
3. Dash forward (not always but you'll know if you need to) and then perform a natural combo ending in a mid or low, as in any move in the move list that ends in a mid or low, preferably something with kickback.

Once you practice you put more filler between the 3 basic parts.
For example the basic bitch combo I did for law ages ago.

Anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, KoF and MK have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.
