Get some Zombies to slow the chariots down. Then kill the chariots with ghouls, spearmen, etc. Anti-large and poison are the priorities. Use Vargheists or Direwolves to kill missile cavalry. Need something fast to catch them. The rest of those chumps should be ez mode. Marauders have low leadership,krump the gits from the sides and backs and they'll run home to momma.

Just remember, Norsca is going to be even scarier with Dragons, Mammoths, Fimir, and other horrors. Prep your boipucci, vampire boi.

Chaos/Vampires probably. Chaos has a hilariously easy win condition if you're just in it for the achievement and Vampire deathballs are never not ridiculous.

How do people handle Chaos when they are the Empire? My first campaign was the VCs and I abused vampiric corruption by blocking their armies, baiting attacks and fleeing, etc. all to make them take as much damage as possible before fighting them. And even with mostly grave guards with great weapons I found the chaos warriors were pretty hardy.

Unbreakable units don't really matter once you get to the End Times Chaos invasions. Your unit buffs for Imperial troops are so much that they probably won't route anyways if they're properly managed. Besides, Chosen's melee attack is so high they'll hack through flagellants or Sigmar's sons in seconds.

Handgunners require too much micro and TLC to be worth it in battle. Crossbows are a better pick, and artillery an even better pick.

For cavalry and artillery, anti-large and armor piercing are key when fighting chaos. You need Reiksgard or Demigryphs to even pose a threat to Chosen infantry. Hellstorm Rockets are too risky and can hurt your own troops. Mortar is too weak. You should really only go for steam tanks, cannons, or hellfire volleyguns.

Depends what you want to do really. He's not great in combat, he's more for a support role. So when you do engage have him go in with other units as support.

I mostly go for his red skills/yellow skills. Scarred Veteran works well for when he gets the jade griffin, get the reds for what ever units you plan to use. He's good at surviving and giving buffs so try to make those the best you can, make his strengths stronger.

Cannons are great against large and/or armored targets. Rocket batteries are great against blobs. Mortars are a weaker middle ground between the two but you need to alt+click target with them for best effect.

Volley Guns will absolutely shred heavy infantry but will require a checkerboard formation for maximum effect. Risk/reward ratio can be questionable. They're also about as good as cannons at putting monsters in the dirt.
