Anyone know how faction fleet buildup works in nexerellin?

I somehow ended up in a huge battle with two nomad invasion fleets vs a combined hegemony-diable force and routed the nomads, does it actually take time to recover or do they pull fleets out their ass?

Factions build up invasion points daily, and there's a minimum amount of points required before they can invade again. It's in the exerelin_config.json.

My game has been freezing when attempting to save. No error messages because the game doesn't crash, just ceases to respond until I force quit Starsector.
Is this a memory issue? I don't get any in-game messages warning about memory issues, and I thought the newest version of Starsector was 64 bit by default?

In my experience, the game likes to hang if I alt-tab while it's in the "Backing up save file" part. It usually fixes itself and finishes if I don't click on anything though.

The Caesar has one saving grace besides its armor, and that's range. It can actually outrange a Paragon if you give it the right hullmods.

I really want to rejig the mod so that the faction has a rampant, underlying anti-Ludd sentiment mirroring anti-settimism, along with almost comical comparison to american conservative news (In other news, the Fuhrer spoke at length on how the Tri Tachyon Menace is performing dangerous medical experiments on Persean League member states. The speech warns of future intervention to protect the Persean League states from insidious Tri Tachyon machinations.) Also change the independant planet to a NGO planet where undesirables end up being sent to for medical experiments, and turn the pirate planet into a reluctant pirate haven in order to survive in the face of the NGO threat.
