So in Mobius how do weapons work, I get that each job has like 2 weapons but you can use them on any job, do you just infinitely refine that weapon from the start of the game until end-game?

The wiki looked a bit rundown so I don't know if it's just missing information or if that's really the deal, also the weapons stats are based around what that job is good at, why would you want to use another jobs weapon if it's less suited for your purposes?

I'm looking forward to starting a mobage that lets me change jobs but for some reason all the mechanics are baffling me more than RK or BE.

Make sure you augment and level the ranger mandragora to the max rating and level. since it's basically free. I think it's the one with the drill in its head. I might be wrong. Confirm it and put it in the auto enhance tab in card options and then just go to the map node in that mandragora's area where the boss icon appears. And just do autobattles there until you've maxed it.

You can use weapons on any job of its class.
Swords(and lances) on warrior classes, Gloves on monk classes, knives in rogues, and staffs on mages.
The reason you might want to use a weapon from another job is because some weapon's abilities are more beneficial to a class than others, and sometimes more important than its stats. For example monks are usually more suited for breaking so whichever weapon improves its break power over anything else would be preferred. Knights defender role prefers higher defense and HP so you'd look for a weapon that would increase those for him.
Since not all weapons have abilities tailored for theach class' specific needs you need to mix and match weapons to jobs.

That's why I'd recommend getting the mp item exchange weapon(if you have a monk job) because it's actually very good for monks.
