So the harvest moon from Dieselmine is going to be released on Steam in July 20th tomorrow. This time unlike Material Girl the publisher will be Dieselmine themselves. I think the actual problem with Aoi is they've made a system that's too complex for their current capabilities. I was curious and extracted the graphics yesterday and basically the current costume system is way too granular. Everything has to be split up into a ton of different pieces to support all the varying poses and accessories. My hypothesis on why the Aoi update is taking forever is that they are basically scrapping the whole old system and are trying to make a new one that's not so ass to make content which lines up with most of the circle's comments which talk about how work on the system is what's making things slow.
