So many people have been talking about how Mercy takes no skill, that she just gets carried or that Mercy has no mechanical skill requirements; I think that's some dumbass shit nigga.

Mercy requires top class aim with her guardian angel, her only method of escaping fights. She also needs quick reaction times so she can save herself from a powerful attack. Her pistol (surprising damage) is a projectile with travel time so more aim is required

In terms of tactics Mercy requires high positioning and keen eyes to prepare for enemy ults. Not to mention tolerating crappy teammates that don't respect their healer.

If you didn't notice yet - Blizz doesn't add characters just because they want to, they add specific counters and fill specific roles. Ana was a reliable counterpart to Mercy, because seeing mercy every game is downright infuriating.
Sombra was supposed to put a nail in triple tank, but UROVIRWOTCH and other youtube faggots forever ruined her reputation, so she never took off.
Orisa, again, was supposed to offer something different from reinhardt, while still retaining the shield.
Doomfist counters things that are immune to bullets - barriers, defense matrixes and such.

Eventually, all niches will be filled, and the balance of the game would fall into fine tuning of existing characters.

And, to be honest, that's the time when the game should've been released. Because right now, even a year after the release, overwatch is still not a full game, we have shitty map variety, awful balancing issues and fucking mercy is still alive.

I have played on both PC and Console, I've played from 2500 to 3800 so I know the general feel of most ranks. I can agree that PC is Master Race. On console however, communication is by far the biggest difference between Console and PC. PC has a bypass through this by having in-game chat and third party communication services i.e. Teamspeak/Discord/Skype etc. On console, the only communication you have is voice chat and in-game commands. You have to either message the person not in game chat and pray they enter game chat or just live with it. I know people will say, "But group chat is made for the reason of not having to enter game chat." "Some people don't like to communicate" This is why there is the mute option. If you don't want to talk to some people you can just mute them but at least the option is available. The amount of players that don't join game chat then message you after game saying "Why didn't you play so and so?" or "Thanks for the loss" is absurd. Probably won't be implemented but whatever.
