Guys, help me out here. I have a shitload of Cecilias and want to promote one of them. The best IV one that I have is +Atk -Res and my idea is to inherit both TA3 onto her as well as Gronnblade so I can change up her build depending on if I'm running her on a Horse Emblem team or not. I know a +Spd Cecilia is better for Gronnblade builds but can a +Atk one also work? Also, I have enough of her to make a 4*+6 version but I don't know when I'll be rolling greens again since I'm kinda done after rolling it exclusively in Summer + Sonya banner so I don't know when I'll be rolling more of her.

The hope is that she won't take physical hits but as the game continues she may end up with matchups where she needs to tank a distant counter hit, so theoretically even a defense bane could have its downsides. HP bane can be patched up with a seal but you have to commit a seal to it..not always the best use of the slot. Res bane means she gets less mileage out of defense tiles and she will be taking a lot more magical damage anyway.

Let's talk FE Switch. Is anyone else hoping they'll go all out with the battle animations? Since Fates we've had battle sequences take place on a 3d map that reflects the 2d map. Now that we're on a console (kind of) I'm hoping they take use of the processing power so you can see fallen soldiers, other soldiers fighting, animations that make use of all the space they have.

Literally any build that works with a defense bane should work with a res or hp bane. Miracle means you can put her into situations where you can overextend, but at the cost of losing explosive firepower every 2-3 or so rounds of killing enemies with an offensive special.

At the end of the day, whatever gets you 705 clears in TT, arena wins, infernal clears, etc is what matters.

Looking at the simulators the only difference I see is that a +Spd Cecilia picks up a few extra kills on some red units with Fury 3 on both, which is not really that important considering you should already have a Rein/Camus/Ursula/Olwen if you're running a Cav team. A +Atk Death Blow has basically the same number of kills as a +Spd Darting Blow or Fury 3.

Desperation isn't necessarily a must. If you're using her in the arena, you'll likely encounter other Green tome users with GTomebreaker. I personally keep GTB on my Cecilia at all times. Desperation is more helpful when you're up against most things, though. So it's just something to consider.

Also, I wouldn't worry about having too little atk unless it becomes a noticeable problem: You're getting +12 damage when you Hone/Rally atk and spd, and can get +8 more damage if you need to from def/res.

Draw Back is pretty good, and comes natural. Between Ardent Sacrifice and Reciprocal Aid, I personally prefer RAid since it lets you get rid of a Donnel and can potentially heal an ally more, but I've seen people swear by ASac because one use gets Nino into Desperation range no matter the IVs. So go with whichever of the three sounds good to you.
