Guys I'm losing my fucking mind here.
Is there a simple mod that just allows me to adjust my walk speed, and that's it, so I can actually keep up with npcs and stop walking so slow?
Every mod I come across changes npc walk speed as well, or suggests changing my movement speed multiplier which changes the speed of walking, jogging and sprinting.
I just want to walk faster, and that's it!

Using NMM since launched for Skyrim and only dabbling in it now is rather jarring.
NMM is admittedly extremely simple, and therefore conditions you that installing should be as simple as download, and double click to install.
Dou don't learn about overwrite and all that other stuff. you want one mods files to be more prominent? Just reinstall the mod, and overwrite all files. desu the only problem I've ever had with it is that it takes a long time to install some mods, like poses.

The sentence doesn't really make sense. UUNP is a model used by Bodyslide to export body shapes using UNP as a base. In terms of UUNP, UNP is just one out of many preset shapes.

Most UUNP outfits are only contained within the Bodyslide folder because they have to be exported into the shape of your choice first. That shape can indeed be UNP.

Okay, let me start over because typing this shit out helps me to keep it straight in my head.

When I started out with Skyrim, there was UNPB, UNP, and CBBE. I liked UNP most of those three options so I went with that. My understanding is that armor had to be designed for one of those three options, and using armor designed for a different one would look weird.

Bodyslide came out and I heard it was basically CBBE only so I never gave a single shit about Bodyslide.

I stopped playing for a year and a half or so, and came back recently. People were talking about UUNP so I assumed UUNP was just a fourth option to go alongside UNP/UNPB/CBBE. Yesterday some people shared links with me to some armor I want to try. One of the armor packs says it requires UUNP, the other says it requires UNP. I'm trying to determine if I can load both sets of armor or if it'll CTD because it's looking for a different ESP or something.

Chances are the UUNP one is just a conversion of the original UNP one.

It shouldn't crash as long as you have HDT physics and XPMSE installed.

You had it slightly wrong to begin with. UNPB and UNP both have the same base, so while they are different bodies, they won't look strange at all. Same with 7B. Even using a CBBE armour on a UNP body won't crash your game.

UUNP is just a framework offering customisable bodies that use the same base as UNP. If it's UUNP, you might need Bodyslide to make the shape you want first, but it will be compatible with everything UNP.

Are there any nice textures to make a Spooky character? Anything kind of zombie or demon like will do. The closest I've seen is Xenius's races and a few cannothaves, like Suu, Sylvie and Vivi's characters.

Oh, and when you make a custom race, do you need to include Race Compatibility's vampire scripts if you're not planning on becoming a vampire? Those were the main thing that made me give up on making my own.

PerMa or Ordinator. Download the readme for Perma, and compare your favorite skill tree in it to the same in Ordinator. Which do you like better? Go with it.

Note that Perma will have more compatibility issues, but all that means is slightly more work on your part to make things compatible. Pretty much everything is capable of being compatible, except other perk mods of course.

I don't mind the graphical downgrade from ENB if it means I can have a compromise between vanilla and ENB graphics while constantly running at 60fps.
I have faith in SKSE64 coming out before the year is over, and honestly I don't think Skyrim is that awful of a game to play vanilla with some light mods, and SE is certainly more stable and less crash-prone than Skyrim w/ Sheson's patch, ENBoost, and Engine Fixes ever was.
Plus, all future non-Bruma Beyond Skyrim releases will be SE exclusive, just because it's that better of a base to work off of for big projects.

I don't care about Creation Club and won't use it, I have the DLL that re-enables achievements, and use the Nexus primarily for my mods. While I miss having to give up RaceMenu and Shape Atlas for Men, I can always go to e621 to satisfy those needs.

It was causing crashes everywhere, they used that godawful Open Cities meme, creatures and NPCs were broken, quests were buggy and there were practically none of them. Oh and by the way this was 5 years of work of like 50(?) supposedly competent people and even ran a closed beta that apparently they learned NOTHING from. I gave up trying to get down the mountain due to CTDs (which were a big problem on release), but apparently it's pretty empty. No main questline, lots of little questlines that end in nothing much, empty houses, forced Open City Bruma, amateur bugs such as borked/crash-ridden meshes and a script that could stop you from interacting with enchanting tables/smithing tables and the like if you saved your game. The page for classic Skyrim still has over 100 bug reports open, and we're at patch 1.3. Maybe the mod is a bit more fun now, but the launch was really bad.

I understand the crashes early on, since they packed it incorrectly. But I started playing it on SSE with the 1.32 and haven't ran into too many bugs aside from one set of robes having bad weight painting, which apparently weren't meant to be in a vendor list anyways. I don't use Open Cities in Skyrim because of compatibility concerns, but it isn't a problem for me with Bruma because I have a PC capable of handling it. I actually prefer the more fleshed out sidequest-lines over a main quest. Every TES game except for Morrowind and the DLC/expacks has had an awful main quest, so focusing more on going place to place and doing a bunch of smaller but more fleshed out stories is more satisfying to me.

Also it's some damn pretty landscaping, and I'm a glutton for nostalgia because I'm awful

Well for one, she's crazy. It's another way to challenger herself. It's good to be able to duel as a back up plan in case the sneaking doesn't work out, and vice versa. To her, basically the only thing better than swinging a greatsword through someone's neck is swinging a greatsword through an unaware person's neck while invisible.
