Horde has a ton of chink mages, which means in pug vs pug they always have a decent defense to slow/wipe alliance rush. Alliance never do this as pugs, and pugs never send rogues ahead to sap/blind the mages when people rush in

it's impossible for horde to do the same at the backdoor or bridge - a few good mages defending alliance turf will cause far more trouble than the undead ones can do to alliance, especially since alliance gets two chokepoints (iceblood/road, then recall for backdoor/bridge) whereas horde mages only get tower point

the map is heavily alliance favoured but pugs are too shit to take advantage

Alright guys, I need some advice here.
I used to play druid on >vanillagaming, which was my first classic experience but I was pure heal and it felt incredibly frustrating being completely unable to kill anyone in pvp.
I started playing a rogue but dpsing doesn't even come close to healing in terms of depth and fun. I recently saw some of these balance druid pvp videos and was wondering if druids are actually viable in pvp in this form or if that player was just exceptionally good. Also wondering about the itemization that would be required. I'm not much of a clique guy, so I probably wouldn't have my guild make too much of a sacrifice for me.
