It's great, but those Fous aren't the only Fous in the game. You get them thrown at you during event logins and the FP gacha. Over time, all of your best units will be maxed out, and you'll start spending it on units you don't even care much about. Even with bronzes, it doesn't take long.

Great to get your waifu/husbando up quickly, but beyond that, are just a way to drain you of your mana prisms.

Realistically, you can get about 560 mana prisms a month if you use all the EXP cards instead of burning them, more if you burn the cards or are so insane you actually min/max the 288 AP a day for an entire month.

It'd take about 10 months to casually save up for one of the good CEs in their final form, variably less depending on your grind/quartz threshold.

Tough call there, especially because we're deep into the shit now and whales are spoiling people.

I'd swap Element on Emiya for days when there are a lot of Saber dailies, maybe, but there isn't much else you can do.

It comes down to how your list is assembled. If you have a lot of new players, the Jeanne+Journey CE will get you a ton more FP than usual. If it's mostly experienced players who do everything each day, they likely have a throwaway Journey CE on one of their bond grinders and have no use for either Jeanne nor Journey, and want good units.

I'd just play it by ear and make sure to login every day, because the more you play, the more chance you show up on people's lists.

Did some of you abandon your progress and rerolled in jp when merlin came out?

Yes, but she's not until Valentine's Day and has a completely different gameplay purpose.

Okita is all offense and intended for crit gen/quick teams.

Altera is always decent, but is lacking the spike damage of Mana Burst or the great support abilities of Nero Bride. If her NP% got buffed, that'd change everything, but never going to happen.

Not so much. The biggest concern is having a lot of Arts cards on your team, and preferably Arts NPs, in order to charge up your NP gauge quickly. Something like Medea/Hans/Emiya has been working out just fine for me, and replacing Hans with Jeanne or even Altera has worked out perfectly well. You don't "need" Tamamo or Waver or Merlin to make such a team work, even though they are quite helpful.

Okeanos release. Drake as 5* and Mary Reed & Anne Bony 4*, both servants are pretty much the best rider of their respective rarity for a long time, Drake is probably one if not the most polyvalent servant of the game since she generates a ton of crit stars for her class, passively brings them to her, can charge her NP by a huge amount, pierce invunerabilities and dodges, got a good team-wide NP & ATK damage buff and a saber deck.

There's also the added benefit of a S growth servant not really needing the 4th ascension that much. They gain very little from it, so you can hold off on getting it before ascending other servants.

The only reason we can reroll now is due to the 43 quartz they give out to new accounts. If you were to reroll during a later event (say, Tamamo for Halloween) then you are looking at collecting quartz in Fuyuki in order to make any rolls past the tutorial.

I want to puke. I've spent about $1000 on tickets, SSR rolls, skins and worse of all limited gacha. I never even had the itch to whale for a specific character, but wasted money just for the thrill of gacha. I even dropped a quick $100 on FGO last christmas although I didn't even play the game at that time.

It hurts knowing that I've wasted on something so stupid I did on a whim, but at least I've yet to spend a single dime here and hopefully keep so.
