I actually didn't like the first one because of how few characters there were. I wanted to main Ragna but the guy was such a crybaby. But then the 2nd game came out years later and I forgot all about the negatives since it had more characters and now Noel let her hair down which made her 10/10. Then I got it and remembered how annoying most of the angsty characters were. Taokaka's story and Kokonoe's appearances were the only things to keep me going. So the 2nd one I guess. Everyone aside from Taokaka makes it sound like they're the only ones who have problems and have to shoulder some world-ending burden, which is fine, but everyone in that game is shouldering some kind of burden, so none of them are special, they need to lighten up and make the best of what they have and stop acting so emo.
