The neutral base is really easy to build up, is the thing. Most of the cards are bronze, a few silver. Almost no golds unless you're doing a Cat deck or something. You can do a janky pauper neutral with that new Angel who adds +1 on attack, she even costs the same as Alice, until you get enough crap for a real Alice.

So yeah, not surprised. Neutral Blood is the new Bannersword of low ranks. Cheap as fuck to put together and still win with for other lowbies who haven't had time to build a collection.

I used to play burn rune in ToG with Pascale and literally the only times I could win against dragon is with mage+Pascale and them generally bricking/not drawing Bahamut which is VERY inconsistent overall. Stuff like Levi and Oz helps now but overall if you don't kill them by turn 5-6 you're dead and Oz is only effective past that.

Dragon can only afford to not run Saha and go full Storm when the meta slows down, what hasn't happened yet, since Storm dies way harder to aggro. Saha has never stopped being the best Dragon build. Also, a lot of people are playing Luci right now because Dragon has no way of killing Spawn outside of Bahamut, so they need all the heals in the world not to die.
