There are only three Choir hunters in the entire game, one of which is a spy in Mensis and another one apparently went rogue, meanwhile, there seven Yahar'gul Hunters if you count the two you can summon. This leads me to believe that the School of Mensis slaughtered the entire Choir prior to the beginning of the game, except for Edgar, who they believed to be one of their own, Yurie, who was in Byrgenwerth, and Iosefka, who refused to open the front door. Good theory or not?
