61+ is simpler, and if you have a crafter friend to make levekits it's not too bad to power through 1-60

SB gave "III" versions of some of the craft cross classes.
You'll still want carpenter to 50 for Byregot's Blessing, and ALC gives you Comfort Zone so you don't have to worry about that. With those two, you should be more than fine 100% HQ pretty much everything this expansion assuming you aren't brain dead.
Arguably, you may want CUL to 37 for Steady Hand II, but you can makeshift without it.

You used to need WVR to 50 for Careful Synthesis II, but you get Careful Synthesis III for free now as you level.

There are a lot of ways to level at the moment and it's super easy to gear up since the mats for the level70 are easy to gather and craft. You can make a lot with alchemist pots and leve items once you reach 70 and i don't think i've used any cross class skills besides what >>182840465 said. If you have some gil and a friend or two who's willign to help it won't be that hard. What server are you on? I have a lot of leve items around that i give ya. This one looks way better to me though perhaps I am biased since I think the top two faces look like downs. I would just suggest removing the hightlights or making them a bit darker, from a distance it would look like she has a receding hairline. Either lose the eyeshadow or give her a natural lipstick color to reduce the default red lips, as elezen faces don't handle heavy makeup that well. Then she would be perfect.

Play the class you like and know the class. That's really what the games comes down to right now. You'll have idiots from time to time, but for the most part you'll do find playing either one. >doing really good, everybody at ~3k dps and nobody's making mistakes

I think he's just butthurt I didn't feed his ebin SAM DPS with eye the whole time even though he wasn't as good as he thinks he was.

I would try all three healers, personally i find ast to be boring, but enjoy sch and whm.

Your healing is consistent, it's just your buffs that are RNG. As you level, you gain a modicum of control over the RNG with Spread, Redraw, and Minor Arcana.

So long as you aren't level synced into an instance, you can enter dungeons and trials with stacked deck.

What do I do? Switch and take the hit and consequently disappoint my group of friends, as I'm the best healer of them,
and the only other one willing is... really fucking bad at it? Or do I stick with AST, and just MNK for everything but static group runs, which means gearing it up after my AST every time new gear comes out?
