It has nothing to do with that. It's because the VC tanks are original tank designs whereas the GuP tanks would be reskins of tanks already in the game. There's one GuP tank on console and it's garbage because it's just a reskinned PansyWagon IV that doesn't even come with a special crew. You just get some German bloke.

I said nothing of the sort. A reskinned GuP tank would literally only be appealing to fans of the anime whereas the VC tanks have broader appeal because they aren't just reskins. People who have never played or heard of VC might still want to play them because they get a whole new tank instead of just some shit from the tech tree with a gay paintcoat.

What does a brother have to do to get a mastery badge on the bloody Conqueror tank? I'm 300+ battles in and it seems like if I don't spot and kill the entire team myself I won't t get it.

Not being able to aim low in a tank this tall greatly limits the gun's usefulness, people have argued that a skilled player would be able to make full use of the good gun, I don't doubt that but it doesn't change the fact that the tank's ability to handle uneven terrain is limited.

The armor is good, from the front it's a watered-down VK 100.01 P, the lower plate is wider than the one on VK 100.01 P. Obvious WG balancing attempt on the upper plate being different in thickness depending on where you hit. Premium ammo makes it irrelevant.

The speed is overrated, it's not like you can do circles in it, since it can't abuse terrain much the speed is more for running away from a bad situation.

It's great on corridors, at least until gold spammers/derp guns come into play.
