Sonya is comparable to Julia as a defensive mage, to the point where it's pretty much "use whichever one you have/whichever one has the better IVs". The loss in HP and RES is made up for by better speed, but that does hurt her when tanking blue mages.

It's pretty easy to get into Tier 20, I'm probably getting in with only 4814 points, so all that really matters is being able to stay in Tier 20.
