Kind reminder that Dragonball FighterZ will be a poorly crafted fighter with abysmal space control, awful movement when compared to the Marvel series, lack of assist variety, and no appreciable character archetype diversity. Just because it's not Capcom doesn't mean it won't be bad. If you have to constantly compare yourself to current Capcom to make a game sound good, then it's a shit game.

Kind reminder that Steam's concurrent player count for SFV is inflated.

Kind reminder that SFV and T7 are identically lamentable. Both games have horrendous input lag, terrible online experience, a lack of character variety, long and artificial load times, and sparse on features. Promoting either of these games weakens the fighting game community.

Kind reminder that a game which lacks strong zoning, is a game not worth playing.

A couple new characters are pretty braindead, but Jack-O is extremely annoying. Later in the game, when the houses are down and leveled up, she has incentive to run away and avoid getting hit to spawn more minions, it's hard to put pressure on her for long because a minion might knock you out of your screen, and three or four minions can make her pressure exceptionally difficult to escape.

She's really obnoxious and really poorly designed.

Well they have different general mechanics and characters also gain different moves.

In general H is considered the worst moon mechanics wise because they were nerfed a lot from the previous version, but it still depends a lot on the character. For example H-Len is considered to be the best Len.

No, every moon can get their life back, but they do it in different ways.

There is no real universal "this moon does this" thing, it still depends a lot on the character, but F-Moon characters in general tend to be simpler to beginners and have easier execution/shorter combos because they cannot reverse beat, so they have stronger normals but less cancel options.

H-Moon characters tend to be more aggressive thanks to stuff like 6AAA and they also usually have longer combos because they need to go for loops to build meter since they have the least control on meter of all moons.

C-Moon has lots of meter to spare because of how their meter mechanics work and this helps them a lot in many situations.

But this is not always true, for example F-Satsuki or F-Arc have harder execution than the other moon because of hard links, again, it depends a lot on the character.

It's dead because of its graphics. Also, niche fighting games have trouble attracting players, because a large player base makes games safe to buy in terms of having online competition. This is a little bit worse in KoF's case, because having to learn three characters at once is a much steeper learning curve than learning a single character, which repels newcomers.

Doesn't mean the game is bad, just like SFV's relative success doesn't mean it's good.

Raven might be better now, but back when I was playing he was a stance character that only used one stance, and against a lot of characters he was best just flying in at the same angle every time.

Bedman was a great example of a character who was given miscellaneous tools and wound up lacking any sort of real focus. Not really annoying to fight against, but just bad from a design standpoint.

Visually sure, especially if you live outside of Japan. Conceptually no, she's exactly what KoF has always been. The character design style of KoF has always been characters with modern fashion trends, people you could potentially see in real life walking down the street. They have even updated characters to keep true with this ideology behind characters so you get Benimaru who changes clothes every new saga or Robert who gets older and more refined and serious. The issue for a lot of people is that most KoF characters were created 20 years ago when the fashion trends were as such and more simple, but Sylvie is modern fashion.
