This would force major coalitions to go to war often, because no region would be able to support them for long.

Then the new all out gradually spawned from this. Nootykins took us to many dank roams and we eventually moved in with oruze.

After much complaining about ALLIANCE BOOKMARKS, we had to merge into a single corp. All out was reformed as a newfag corp.

Unfortunately, however, the person we left in charge was a retard. After many dumb decisions, he fucked up everything, stole some shit and left.

Eventually, we got annoyed at how there's no corporation capable of taking in random dogposters (that's you), so we made the new reformed all out, which is where things are now.
It's featuring a citadel in wormhole space where we live, what's left of Moot's Last Jihad (like one guy, but he's pretty ok) and lots of gnosis memes for people who don't know how to play. We're regrowing it gradually.

Newfriend here, just fired up EVE for the first time ever in Steam. I had a (trial) account originally but lost it.

As I said I've not done it myself so I can't give a first-hand account but I've heard of people having trouble with support where they got bounced between CCP and Steam customer support because they kept claiming the other was responsible for their account, that some people couldn't buy plex through steam for some reason, and I've heard of others getting locked out of their accounts.

Again, these are all second-hand and from years ago so it may be different now but personally I wouldn't risk it and will just keep playing through the standard launcher.

D-scan should automatically pulse every 15 seconds or so.
It doesn't make sense in the setting that no pilot or ship engineer has every thought to developer an 'always on' mode for the directional scanner, considering its importance and regular use.

Modules that are required to repeat do so. Turrets, web, scram, whatever.

The point here isn't "I want this because I'm lazy", rather "wouldn't it actually be like this in terms of the EVE universe?" the only reason I can imagine it not being so is if ships have the ability to detect other pilots d-scan pulses, like submarines.
I purposefully said '15 seconds or so' so there is still utility and edge in manually pulsing the d-scanner.
