Csgo isn't really approachable as a newcomer

I would recommend getting into another game. Cs is a game that you basically have to play for years and years and years to be even decent at.

The issue with cs is you are making judgments and decisions based on one million different factors. Its not all about aiming. So you might get your aim placement and spray control down and youre landing headshots left and right within a few months... But you'll need thousands of hours of playtime to REALLY understand when to rotate, when to peek, what angle to hold, how to play with your team and make trades and lurk and counter lurk. Looking up YouTube tutorials on counterstrafing and pop flashes will get you out of gold nova but to be even like c- on esea you have to put in a stupid amount of time into the game

I've been playing for 2 years pretty consistently and I still have days where I play like a shitter, wide peek when I shouldnt, whiffing easy shots, etc. CS is one of the only competitive games I can think of where you can royally fuck up in a match but still win. You can do something so insanely stupid that a competent opponent wont expect it and you catch him off guard and win. So learning how to improve once youre past a certain point is not easy because its not always clear whats a misplay and whats not. Getting good at CSGO takes a lot of effort

Playing LEM+ on matchmaking and pugging around C to B on esea, a ton of players are in their late 20s or early 30s and have been playing consistently since source or 1.6 or even before that.

What I'm trying to tell you is this isn't like getting into magic the gathering where you learn all the cards in rotation and copy a net deck and you could be winning tournaments within a few weeks. You're playing with and against people, at the higher levels of MM and esea pugs, who have been playing for years and over a decade in some cases.

I would urge you to play a game like PUBG with your friends or play CSGO casually with friends. I had way more fun in CSGO on average when I was MG1 playing with a group of people who were just as bad as me and we were having fun. But I decided to break from the group in order to focus on improving and I did at the cost of having less fun in the game.

I'm not lying or exaggerating when I say getting to the point where you can hold your own in somewhere like LEM or c- esea pugs will take you at least 2000 hours. before that you're basically a bot.
