Thornmail is now worthwhile, but only on tanks. The grievous wounds are a billion times more useful than the pitiful amount of damage it used to reflect.

Sunfire burn was stupid before and this change permantly killed the Ekko/fizz type bullshit that cropped up with it recently.

Everything that lost health got an additional passive, and there's health on so many items now that you still end up with 9khp full build anyway. On hit and DoTs were also significantly nerfed, and the champions that tended to build that shit were also the tankbusters, so now we're left with people who tickle them to make up for the supposed lost hp.

tank items arent broken though

pre tank update tanks were basically unkillable with just two items

now tanks are pretty vulnerable until they hit 3 items.

the payoff being they can live longer in the lategame now and gargoyle/locket interaction is fucking nuts

both Thornmail and Sunfire had thier damage gimped and everyone recieved scaling MR making killing people slightly harder because tanks already have low damage to begin with and it gets resisted even further.

if you dont have %HP damage or 3 really good CC skills you are useless atm
