I woke up this morning hankering for Katawa, so I started Shizune's route today. I was initially not enamored with the idea of being Lilly's worst enemy for a route, but I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised so far. The route is very cute. Misha and Shizune are dedicated to the student council and I'm glad they helped me realize that too. I also loved Shizune's animation, it made me smile but effectively foreshadowed what I assume is destined to come. I think Misha likes Hisao a lot. I wish she had a route.
I'm excited to see what's to come. I've heard her beta route is long and complex, so if I enjoy this one, I've got even more Shizune dialogue waiting for me!

I wouldn't worry so much about it. Polls like this don't really interest me since people can have varying reasons for voting for whichever katawa. I'm sure some voted based on how well-written the routes were, or some things about a specific route/katawa was very relatable, opened their eyes, changed them for the better or all of those. They just like how the girl looks, carries themselves or have even added bits of personality to the character that the writers didn't put in.
Who's your most and least favorite girl and how did you like her route?
Shiz a best but her route let me down in writing and art somewhat. I wish the final route had more time to be completed. Though Rin's route is my favorite, Lilly's is one I like because I relate to how much she values her family enough to give them a chance despite demeaning her for her blindness, but I think that to have both her family and Hisao is be a very worthwhile fight. I like Lilly, I just don't like her nearly as much as the others.

My favorite girl is Rin, mainly because I adore her deadpan sense of humor and her strangeness, but also because her route was the last I played and has stuck with me the longest.

My least favorite girl is Shizune. Even if I overlook all her bad traits, there isn't much there I could personally fall in love with. Apart from competitiveness, I do like that about her. Oddly enough, I think her route has the best writing next to Rin's.

I genuinely cannot decide which katawa I like the most. I'd be happy to be in a relationship with someone like any of them. I like emi, I like hanako, and I like Lilly. I feel like Lilly's route was the best and most romantic even if it was pretty clichéd. I kind of like the character of shizune and she seems like a nice person, but I can't stand her in her final route. Alpha shizune is a completely different and much better person. The only one I don't really like is rin because I don't think I understand her, and she's not my type. Surely I'm not the only one who doesn't have a definite favourite?

I think that's what we all want. Lilly really drove that home for me. That desire to have someone who will love you as powerfully and deeply as you will love them. To not just be strong for them but to have permission to be weak with them so they can be weak for you, relying on each other.

I always imagined Saki as being very popular and at the center of a group of pretty tag alongs at Yamaku who she is the head of. None of them are really friends, but they are interested in the same things, mainly fashion, boys and being the popular ones at school. She's sweet on the outside but can be really viscous when she gets angry, regularly makes snide or condescending remarks towards things that annoy her.
