There should be a downside to switching away the BSS's effect, possibly a temporary mark for death or something. I could see it being heavily abused for both rollouts and with items like the KGB that let you go on total rampages.

Black Box isn't a crutch, it's just better. It plays exactly like stock except it allows you to out tank anyone in a 1v1 and also increases your survivability for the long term. Rocket launchers reload really quickly and as Soldier you're going to be perpetually reloading no matter how many or how few rockets you have. The only time stock is better is divebombing Heavies or rocket jumping more freely.

Heavy is a total meatshield once he shakes off that stalling Marked for Death effect just once.
I mean GRU is overpowered when rushing mid, but at the ongoing fight definitely a roamer would blast you away if you ever get caught.
Also the main reason for him being out of 6s meta is not solely that but him being too dependent on Medic also.
When Medic is busy healing him, other longer effective range burst class or flanks would "thrive" healing. That's why he's restricted to the last point.

If there were to be a meet up it would half to be some sort of middle ground like a fly over state or some southern state cause if i remeber zeemaps or whatever were actually all pretty spread out.

Rescue Ranger is also a good upgrade to stock if you're running defense engineer, at this point RR is too forgiving. You can also use it as a shittier huntsman but it's main use is to crossbow your sentry.

Watching these TF2 legacy videos I notice a lot of things you just don't see in modern competitive. Things like heavy to mid on 5CP, Turbine, what I can only assume is Warmfront, Gravelpit, etc. I even saw a BB + Conch soldier play. Do you feel like the current "meta" is too stiff? This wouldn't work with current 5cp maps, it would need new maps were the points are at equal distance from each teams spawns.
The time needed to capture would be reduced to 1 minute, instead of 3 minutes.
Only 1 point would be active at a time, not 2. So there's no back capping.

how to fix TF2 (team fortress two)

dominations now last between matches and servers

if you dominate somebody and they join spectator, you will still be dominating them
if they leave the server and rejoin, you will still be dominating them
if you meet them in a different server, you will still be dominating them

leaderboards show who has the most dominations across the entire playerbase and clicking somebody's name shows their current spread (players dominated - players dominating)

A dmix, short for double mix, is when you gather 12 people to play 6s. It's friendly matches against each other, can be serious and/or unserious, although it's usually more fun when people aren't fucking about.
The usual go for dmixes are that once there are 6 players on both teams, one player says last to spec and everyone rushes to join spectator. Last 2 people to join spectator have to play medic, they battle it out and the winner gets to pick a player first.
The most common way to pick is to have players pick. Captain's pick exists too but it's pretty boring since it ends in one team being stacked more often than not. In players pick the person gets to pick a player when it's their turn, team takes turns picking. Classes are picked once everyone has been picked.
TL;DR it's a fucking 6s match
