I had a game where we beat this cancer yesterday actually. Look here.
The beginning of this game was so fucking bad. It was like 15-2 and looked like it was over. We couldn't push in where the opponent wasnt because tinker was online early, and we had a pudge and an earth spirit who couldnt get kills early.
But we stuck in it, tried to split them as much as possible, smoked and got some pick offs, ignored the axe, and secured roshan before we tried highground. 1600avg. Just have to communicate.

if the entire point of your starting items is to stay in lane as long as possible (which is what an am wants to do, especially with that item build) then the quelling damage doesnt actually matter if you can last hit; quelling is a jungle efficiency item, not nearly as much a laning one
+1 regen adds values to tangoes and means you dont have to buy clarities once youre flash farming jungle with blink before finished perseverance, you just pop it and are back to full and dont care about the regen anymore

Getting the QB when you're under heavy harass can be good because you're going to be hitting creeps under tower. It allows you to get all the CS easier leading to a very quick RoH. I would still much rather go for the stat items (branches etc) but it's still a better option than a fucking +1 regen. If you're under enough harass for tangos+salve to not be enough to tide you over, that +1 is going to do fuck all. You especially want burst healing against harass because you can't hit creeps when you're low and waiting for your tiny passive regen to catch up.

Also PMS is just another option, although unless you're playing against an offlane Zeus or some shit the harass you take is never going to be all magical.

If you want coaching I'm around your mmr and can help. Dota is about teamwork and strategy. Getting your team to work together is most of the battle.
Mechanics are easy. If you want to get good, watch guides, watch streamers (jimmy, synderen, yapzor, khezu, febby, monkeys forever, ppd are all good streamers to learn from who are on semi frequently).
If you lose in ranked dont play ranked again. If a teammate is tilting and being toxic mute him and ask your team to mute him. Use smokes. Ward. Carry dust. Gank. You'll climb if you want to.

This, most high mmr players have been playing this game for like 5 years or more, most people who are pro have played for 11-13 years and have probably had some experience in games similar before it, it is all muscle memory for them and they don't think as much as they claim to do. In fact when they are questioned on why they do a certain thing, usually explanations are quite ad hoc or flimsy but said in a commanding and authoritative tone (combined with lots of insults to the intelligence of people holding any opposing viewpoints for maximum Dunning-Kruger) to give the impression that they know what they are talking about.

i don't think you can so easily wave away a player's recent trends as not mattering.

if you do have a shitty gpm rate in core roles in recent times it's usually better for you to cede the core role for someone else who is currently in a better gpm state than you.

not to say that you aren't the better core player overall, but it might be true you haven't demonstrated the ability to be a good core in recent games.

for example right now i've put myself in what i call the support penance mode because i can't seem to carry a game well recently. i play support so that my decisions late game are not as impactful as they are on core heroes, and my winrate playing support recently is much higher than when i was spamming core a few days ago. sometimes it's just good to take a break from the usual choice.

Watch jerax and dubu. Use quick cast. Look at the opposing lineup to decide whether to buy blight, wind lace., oov or stick at start. I tyoically skill w first then hover the offlane until level 2, and skill q. At that point you gank mid before it gets too far ahead of you. Your skill build depends on the lineup. If you buy oov you might want to consider maxing w and just slow everyone. I'll max silence first if i want to get a kill on an offlaner with an escape and my carry has a stun. All otherbsituations you max q first for the damage.
Mod game consider force or mek. You can go urn before your big item if you have a big lead, but i dont like urn unless thebopponent has blinks i want to disable. Dont go blink until you watch blink es guides. Veil is also an option if you're rich and your team has magic damage but no one is building veil. Drums medallion glimmer also good.
Aghs is unnecessary but i like it if i have an ursa or a huskar, someone who can get in but not get out.
The point of earth spirit is to get kills early, win the lanes, stop black hole/death ward/etc in fights. Control runes for your mid. You dont need gold you need levels so buy tomes. Theres a great guide on youtube for getting exp without soaking your lane by ccnc, you should watch that.

This is bad. I use number keys for hero selection. 1 selects main hero, 2 and beyond select controlled units. Use alt+(q,w,e,r,d,f). Its quicker. My mouse also has two buttons so i use those for items, very quick.
Quick cast makes ot so when you.use spells (or items, you can selectively equip quickcast) you dont have to click after pressing your commend. It just automatically happens wherever your mouse is hovering. It takes some getting used to but it gives you faster reactions and is optimal for every hero that isnt techies. You just need to know your spells cast range and cast rules by heart.

I left one year ago and this place is exactly how I expected it to be. Ti6 was the worst Ti ever was that start of the downfall of dota. A year on and again its not even the same game; reddit still cries and bitches to valve every days with the same fucking title "Valve its the current year, why do I still have to last hit a creep to earn more gold???!" /d2g/ is pretending like know what its talking about and all the good players are being washed up by the day. And after all this you're still going to buy every "Battle pass", every chest, every set and expect the game to improve lets be honest once a Ti bring in a smaller amount of cash than the last year valve with jump ship and let the game die along with its fan base of basement dwelling autistic kids.

Troll isnt a good hero right now. But hes very good against heroes that want to man up like sven, huskar, low bracket bloodseeker if you build sny bkb satanic. You build shadowblade instead of sny and you can close in on squishy backliners like sniper, lina, zeus.
But he's slow at rosh without help, he's a bad laner, and he's only good at 1v1. He gets kited otherwise so the point in fights is to find the 1on1 matchup you can win, and hope your team prevents you from getting stunned and kited.

There's no way to know if those stats refer to core roles though. It's just your average gpm the last few games. If you ended up playing position 5 half of them it doesn't matter if you're the best carry in the world, your stats will suck. That's why there's absolutely no point going through people's stats unless you're looking for reasons to flame random strangers before the game even starts.
