Tekken 7 scares the ever loving shit out of me.

It's the first fighting game in which I start it up, and just kind of whimper out of it to play something else.

Why is this game so frightening? I mean, I act the punching bag in Fightcade all the time. I know I'm shit, but this is harrowing.
I mean, I'd rather give money to Bamco for Tekken over Dark Souls, but..I feel really scared and overwhelmed even at character select.

The problem with Kaz for new players is that he takes too much knowledge to play, alongside the fact that you have to be pretty decent at executing Electrics. He's a really good character, but definitely not for someone who doesn't know frame data, or even new Tekken players in general. He's one the three hardest characters to play, in my opinion.

I really recommend switching if I were you.

i think it was super strong being -10. it had some tracking and high crushed the entire time, and since he got the new ff+4, the reward for hitting FCdf+3+4 was super high compared to the risk (duck jab punish) then again, ff+3 is a safe mid launcher and both of these are slow options, so it kinda balanced out. -12 is a bit much. duck jab punish was not bad because it gives you a small 50/50 and frame trap after.

Coming from SF this game feels so foreign and awkward. 3d space is weird, combos requiring little timing (if any) and usually is just extremely fast mashed out inputs, special moves with neutral thrown in as a base is just odd getting used to timing, just frames feel worse than 1f links because there is no trick like plinking to getting them, the amount of command normals to remember just for your character alone is awful but learning the entire roster so you know what is punishable sounds like hell, movement is awkward my hands just cant get used to using my stick like this to do advanced dashes and i hate that if i dash for a long time i just immediately get put in a shitty waist grab.

I don't even know where to begin. The game is so alien to me coming from 2d fighters and SF.

almost every character can do the same thing. every character has 2 normal grabs and most, if not all have a command grab that is 1+2 break usually. A lot of characters also have grabs that catch crouching people as well. People like to complain about King, but would get destroyed by a Bryan or Dragunov all the same. They also have many grabs. You have to know which of the 3 they will do. Bob has a command grab that gives him a free combo too! Reminds me of Gouken's from SF4.
