Triangle Adept, Quick Riposte. If you're worried Cancel Affinity will become relevant, then Fury, Swordbreaker.

I already have an answer to Falchions:
Fury, Quick Riposte is strongest overall IMO, becoming the deadliest to the largest number of units. HOWEVER, she may lose to Falchions.

Depends on your team. If you already have something like a strong red mage with swordbreaker or desperation on your team that can kill them, then you don't need to worry.

This isn't even talking about how we're not comparing FGO (JP) which would literally destroy FEH over a few dozen times. FEH has it's merits like how the game play has moments where you gotta think (unless you wait and look up youtube videos) whereas the strategic depth of FGO is a bit more shallow since there's no movement/positioning involved. Still, the cute chibi sprites just don't compare to Sprite-kun's god tier work in FGO.

Game play in my opinion is pretty dull, but as a casual player I like the sprite art and animations. There's static art sure, but the fact that you see nice looking 2D sprites move and fight look real nice, especially if you're a waifu/husbando/etc fag since the game caters hard to that kinda thing. With FEH you have nice art, but it's static, never really changes, and it only glosses by in combat.

Like you said, it's something their core player base appreciates. It's not designed to appeal to everyone unlike FEH which tries to get everyone and their grandmothers into it.

Perhaps slight clarification- without either TA or SB, she often loses to Falchions >on enemy phase<. She's usually plenty fine on player phase, and can usually kill all of them without too much struggle.

The problem is, due to shit maps, sometimes you cant always afford to initiate. And Nowi normally really likes playing on enemy phase anyway. IMO, overall, Quick Riposte is her number 1 most desired skill. Fury her number 2. TA and SB are just sacrifices made to make sure whichever skill you prefer can be used safely. A Nowi that can use both, thanks to team coverage, is the strongest possible Nowi.

It's also worth considering that, if you intend to use your Nowi on Grand Hero Battles or Tempset Trials or whatever, with the stupid inflated stats of enemies, there may be times where Triangle Adept 3 scores you a kill you otherwise wouldn't have gotten.

Personally, I still haven't bothered teaching TA to my own Nowi, but I still feel it's mentionable.

I think another problem is that there's no incentive to roll for new units outside of SI fodder.

Like most of the best units (Ryoma, Reinhardt, Hector, Azura etc) have been in the game since release or not long after by this point, which means even F2Pers likely will have one or more of them by this point. The fact that they keep releasing units worse than what's already available means that at best you just level the new unit and then never use them again.

I know that people complain about powercreep but it's how they get people to blow money on gacha games; introduce new broken shit you HAVE to roll for, or introduce fan favorites from whatever source material they're taking from (see Ike, the day he was released FEH went from #50-something in top grossing to #2 overnight).

TL;DR FEH's generosity and attempts at stagnating power creep hold it back from making as much money as it could, for better or worse.

I'm finding it quite disappointing. It's satisfying when I get to use it, but 90% of the time my Melee units are out of range or would have killed the enemy without it. I can see it being more useful in GHB maybe, but so far I'm disappointed.

She's just not extreme enough in her stats and is infantry, so she falls behind: Boye, Nino, and Julia. Her tome is nice and likely pulls off really good damage on all units regardless of WTA/D, but it still lacks behind the raw damage Nino+Julia already deal out (when not triggering special). I guess it's comparable to Boye activating HIS specials, but atleast he can also tank on the side in the meanwhile.

Well anyway, she's better than Soren and Merric I suppose.

She has better SPD and RES at cost of some DEF, otherwise comparable stats, and better default skills which you don't even have to replace. Soren requires alot of investment and more dependant on his IVs than her. So yes she's better.

Her PRF is fucking useless on her unless you're +spd, that's the biggest killer. It's like how Lyn needs to be +atk just to be remotely useful with her PRF, only in Lyn's case her redundant speed is useful in the case you want a suboptimal build where you don't use brash assault.

With Sonya, say you have -spd. What do you even do with Dark Excalibur? It's just inferior to Blade Tomes at that point. It's arguably inferior to Blade Tomes even with neutral speed.

The thing that irks me isn't a hero not being OP or being shit, it's having a PRF that doesn't work well with their stats making it a complete waste. A PRF is supposed to be kinda special, since it's that hero(s)'s exclusive weapon, isn't it just cock blocking if you don't even let the hero synergize with it?

It'd be one thing if it was how it was in the game they come from, but I don't think that was the case for Berkut and Sonya. Well Berkut's might not even be an exclusive weapon.
