I'm in a similar boat.

I've got a horse team (Xander, Camus, Cecilia, Reinhardt) and units that can comprise a -blade team (Ephraim, Eirika, Nino, Olivia, Ninian, usually it's Nino and a combination of one twin and one dancer, as long as all three colors are met). My teams are sufficient enough, though my -blade team has seen less use these days.

Delthea, Sonya, and Mathilda are all great for one reason or another. Either through their skills or just me liking them in general. I don't exactly know their stats so I can't really judge.

I can reach up to 140 Orbs just by earning them through the single player mode but.... I've never had this many before so I feel like I gotta spend really smartly.

I think so. Rescue is used heavily in LTCs and whatnot, stuff like Shove were in previous games and emphasized re-positioning. More abilities like that would be nice, and could create niches for units (ie heavy slower units can pull others out of danger easier).

Special activation/consistent skill activation would be preferable to "5% chance of a thing happening" or "5% + skill - enemy's speed times 1.1* the amount of turns that have passed". Some games do have consistent skills, like "Unit always attacks first/always gets crits at below half health" or "If unit has more health and attack speed, it continues combat" but only in some games.

Is it even a smart move to spend 2k feathers just to dump Hone Armor onto them? What about Effie who has shit IVs in case I merge her later with a better one?
