I joined a stelf heist, went to deactivate cameras, guy detected me when I stepped in, and just before I took a shot, I crashed.

Fun stuff. I wonder how the people took it. I don't use mods.

You don't get payday from crime spree, only a set reward for completing the heist.

Leaving on your own during the game/crashing fail your crime spree.
Getting kicked and leaving from the lobby doesn't, a kick save you the time from having to wait for the chucklefucks of your team to finish so you can get ranks.

If maniac is based on damage dealt, doesn't that mean you can max out your stacks a lot faster on higher difficulties because of the huge headshot multiplier?
