Meiran is pretty obsolete these days with no way to get the ball to her anymore. Black ivy and similar players are also struggling the build stacks in the midline and meiran is slower than both Alice and BI (and she is lacking the speed debuff that both of them bring).

Meiran may as well be benched for most WW teams and she doesn't even complete any meaningful chains. Her own chains are with Sharr and cow demon and a bunch of 4* players. Jade, Linmay, Aslan and even midline kiki seem to bring better performance for WW than Meiran does in PVP. You only include her if you need her speed totem.

Meiran is still useful in PVE though.

Do you guys think they should add a raid of some sort? Maybe the drops from the raid will be a special rune for the 5th slot or something. And you can only enhance it/reroll substats by drops from the raid. Kind of an end game thing. Maybe they add super hard pve story mode that would require these hard to earn runes and at the end everyone gets a free legend or some shit to satisfy everyone.

Oh we can't have raids because legendaries are too powerful and no one will take you into their raid party unless you have 5+ legendaries.

Legendary power creep is a big problem. And it sucks that SS has lots of end game content that is solved by just throwing legendaries at it. But what I was suggesting was actually designing content to play the game. So matches aren't just "load up your legendaries and hit auto until you burn through enough crystals that you win"

First, don't take my advice as sacred.

Definitely get yourself a GK and some decent CM. Put Shu next to Gaphyl, at worst this due is pretty annoying. Lukia is replaceable. Don't know about Pinol, but he definitely didn't let me use active when I went against a him. Nerua is worth putting back only if you have thunder GK, otherwise there are better players like Kevin or Magnus. Front looks good for a beginning. Your mid could be better, but if back and front is much higher priority until later stages.

You want players to attack as much as possible to get full stack on Karpilla. Shu and Gaphyl should make sure of that. Later you might want to replace her with Elchitusa or play her as second passer. Shanti is one of top Strikers right now, she should help you get somewhere.

As for a replacement GK get rid of Ogre as soon as possible. Even special GK like Mute will do. You won't be getting far without GK.

So I'm quite new to SS and I'm not sure how to build a team from the ground up. I have a Felix and Serestia, but I'm not sure what striker or gk to aim for.. I know Presty's supposed to be great but I nearly killed myself rerolling for even 1 Legendary.

It's not bad but both have very good mono's so you may as well go one or the other, thunder especially is mostly viable only when run mono. That being said anythings viable pre-2900

You can use Felix on the center mid, and serestia on one of the sides.

Thunder and Dark don't really synergize well together, but it's not like you can't build it and get to galaxy, which is the highest level of PvP(that actually matters).

You are probably better off going rainbow. It's actually the easiest and best team you can build, since the only advantage of going mono is the Ace Burst, which is only good because pen aces exist.

Rainbow will always be better than mono, unless you have at least 3 legendaries of the same color, which still is a maybe.
