If people can handle Yasuos windwall blocking every projectile ult in the game they can handle ONE (1) champion being able to kill Tryndamere through his ult. Hard counters are bad for the game. One really bad matchup isn't going to ruin the game, but losing the game at champ select because you literally can't participate during the lane phase is not a good experience and Riot has stated before that they feel this way.

Kayns assassin mode doesn't do any damage. You need to build glass cannon to actually 'assassinate' anyone but you get exploded in fights instantly. His bruiser form is infinitely better.

Nah, it just turns everything into an arms race. Immunity to death stops death. Super damage beats immunity. Then comes along super immunity which beats super damage. Then super super damage kills through that.
If a skill says it does something, it should do that, filling your game with a shitload of unintuitive interactions doesn't make it interesting it's just nedlessly complex. Trynd's ult is immunity to death, and that's exactly what it should do.
