Role Actions did a lot to make the leveling experience better, so the disparity between tanks in the level grind isn't that big anymore. Flash also got a buff to how much enmity it generates, so you should be plenty fine if you want to play Gladiator. I wouldn't know about Warrior, though.

I don't see a reason trial accounts wouldn't get 2x EXP. There's a few EXP boosting items out there, but I think they're all either limited (like the Ala Mhigan Earrings for pre-ordering Stormblood) or locked behind stuff like friend referrals.

Unfortunately no, DRK is unlocked in the Heavensward expansion areas, which you can only access after you hit 50 and finish the first portion of the main story. They fixed that for Red Mage and Samurai, but DRK, MCH, and AST players are out of luck.

So, I just started doing more extreme content with DRK, and looking at my DPS it's pretty low in comparison to warrior and PLD.
Any tips anyone can recommend to amp up the damage?
I'm already trying to use blackest Night more on myself and others to get the blood guage going.
I've stopped using Grit for blood splitter since the added damage on it really only makes up for the dps you originally lose from grit anyway.
