when you first enterred heroics you still had to cc and watch what you're pulling, because the classes weren't in their final form (tm) yet and you had awful gear.
hc halls of lightning or utgarde pinnacle were actually pretty hard and more than one boss and trash pack could wipe you if you slipped up. it was especially taxing on early dk tanks as they got blown up on some trash pulls.
then of course when people started wearing t7 it became much easier and eventually you just facerolled through it aoeing everything.
they were easier than late TBC heroics but nowhere near normals.

Play the beta but don't burn yourself out. Use it to test out specs, get your ui perfected, practice leveling routes if that's something you're into to (think it will have fast respawns at launch for starter zones anyhow so may not matter).

keep in mind that warmane tbc has sucked up alot of the players that would otherwise make the launch week a pain in the ass. its a good thing it released first so it could take in all of the shitters. they won't want to lose their progress so they'll ignore gummy for now but if its obviously a better choice, they'll eventually move over.

im expecting ~5k at launch and who knows what will happen after that. either way id expect it to be in line with a high pop retail tbc realm.

You guys have no idea what youre talking about, its going to launch with at least 4k, probably more like 7-8.. and if its successful, which it probably wont be with those numbers, it will be at like 15k by the end of the month. Everyone is hyped for gummy, and there is a very large private server crowd now that they have tasted blood with Nostalrius, and the let downs that followed. Some people - myself included - havent been playing any other server for over a year now, because we knew Gummy was going to replace all this other trash and it would have been a waste of time.

I did, lots of people have and there were not only less bugs on Warmane's arena but the ones found were fixed faster.
Their pve is undertuned and pretty average but reading kids who have never played tbc and act like gummy has better pvp mechanics when he doesn't give a shit about pvp is pretty funny.
