Playing some Lian and testing some of her archbuilds. So far the easiest and wombocombo build is the default legendary and Swift Jade 4. You dash-Valor-Dash for a team wide 1.2k and you can tack on a 800 on top of the chain to instant kill most squishies not to mention get a ton of eliminations to feed your CD reduction and Kill to Heal.

Sniper build is slightly worse since the times that people line up is super rare. Obviously I go with CD reduction on hits and elimination but I feel like I'm a budget Kinessa even when I'm landing it with the plus side is that I got an 800 Damage autoaim for incase a flanker get to me.

I like the direction Hi Rez has apparently taken with Lian and Zhin, which is to design characters with somewhat boring or underwhelming default kits but include a bunch of interesting/powerful cards that allow you to really amp certain abilities if you choose to stack your focus on an aspect of their kit. Depends how significant the card is, arguable on this patch it matters the least it has in a while.

I went from having enough essence for the next two champions to the next 3, with the daily rewards I'll probably never have to grind for essence again to have 100% of the content and new players won't have an issue at all collecting the good shit. Great change, just really sucks for those who already have tons of essence but.

Also here is new UI and the gain from vs AI, no FWOTD gold but full otherwise it seems (I do have a booster but its trivial)

Last patch Flame Lance range got extended so you pretty much fuck up anyone who is near you to the point that if they even think of fighting they'll die 100% of the time, so flanknando is back. On this patch Fireball cooldown went down and the projectile moves faster.

Progression systems has been the standard for close to a decade, I know its retarded and the current system is terrible, I recognize that. But at the moment its pretty close to the old system overall time wise.

For whatever reason having 100% of everything from the get go actually reduces player base, this is one of the few times you can really blame the player. As someone who wants the game to grow so I can keep having strong fun games I want it to be accessible, cosmetic/crystals mean fucking nothing at the end of the day.
