The thing I love the most about FFBE is that it offers the most freedom compared to any other mobile game I have ever played. Whether you are a whale, dolphin or F2P you can fully enjoy this game with enough strategy. It's imo what makes FFBE one of the best mobile games ever.

But this preemptive attack shit needs to stop. Where is the strategy in getting your ass kicked before you even have a chance to do anything? I assume the idea was implemented to stop OTK strats but there are better ways to do that.

You know what makes a good game? Giving your players the ability to control their own destiny. This preemptive attack shit takes control away from the player in a way we have no counter for.

Feels good to not be playing White Mage. Knight seems to do way more damage with about 5x the health.

I think I might switch out Drain for Haste. I'm taking way less damage than I anticipated. For reference, I'm about 50% of the way through Chapter 2.

Knight is a great job for early game content, so you're off to a good start. Make sure you pull from the job banner whenever you get enough tickets to bolster your collection of jobs before that banner goes away. Get something like Dragoon, Dancer, Paladin or Occultist and you'll be set for a very long time.

I would recommend switching out Hades for Hermes if you have it. As a Knight you won't be worrying about your health all that much but your damage is low, so best to maximize your actions per turn to do more damage. Also, make sure you do the Novice's Camp ASAP if you haven't already.

Roy's higher buffs only take effect 6 turns into the battle. It's remarkably slow.
The trade off of not having ATK buffs for the first two turns make him a tad unwieldy.
Ramza is thus better for general content, Roy is kind of a long haul sort of deal.
Lunera's better refresh is just never particularly useful. They all give more MP than you can spend, and the HP is invalidated by the presence of a master healer.

Healers die. HP is never invalidated, it's always welcome for survivability.
Units aren't just good for how they are in good situations. You need to consider more than anything how they behave when shit hits the fan.

Lunera is best for critical situations like this, and her MP refresh can even support mages like William dualcasting every turn.
Roy is best for trials and the like, and defensive buffs are always way more important than offensive ones.

That leaves ramza as the best singer for raids, because he gives the best out of the gate buffs.
But that's all he has.

Spirit Tickets, you'll get one from your Mobius Box every month and there are certain nodes that give them to you as one-time rewards. You can't farm them but as you play you'll accrue them naturally.

Speaking of the Mobius Box, I can't stress enough how important it is to save up your magicite to buy a box every month. If you log into the game twice a day and empty the magicite distiller you'll make more than enough magicite to buy a box every month. Even on days when I don't feel like playing I still log in when I wake up and before I go to bed just to collect magicite.
