That didn't seem to terrible a clear, he also had no one leashing, fucked up his passive procs on Raptors a lot, and didn't even try for a scuttle. Its probably not something you'll see in pro play anytime soon, but the E gives you a decent-ish gank, and the R will be disgusting for securing kills, you wouldn't even have to dive people with low hp, just tag them from fog and reel them in.

Somewhere along the line I think Riot thought that instead of making quick audio quips for champions they'd just write massive fucking sentences for personality forgetting that its not only annoying but is also a terrible way of delivering audio ques for gameplay. I think it was Taliyah who started this because before hand the worst we had was Aurelion Sol and it wasn't bad at all on him when he's only spam his lines upon using Q or E.

Plenty of other champions have only a few words for a catch phrase:

I don't know any champion's real catchphrase after Kled. Nothing "rings" really well like the aforementioned champions...just audio spam at that point. Especially when THROW ANOTHA ROC gets cut off for the first half of the delivery.

Five seconds of actually looking at the characters would reveal to you that they have actual names in addition to the titles, just like in LoL. Dota just chooses to list them like classes in an RPG and use their title rather than the name, LoL does the opposite and uses the title as a subtext.

If Teemo was in Dota, he'd be called "Swift Scout" and if Sniper was in LoL, he'd be called Kardel.

Feast or famine.

His early game means everything for him and you have to keep in mind that he does have his (extremely shitty) match-ups where you're MUCH better off playing a different champ if he gets countered in champ-select. Like playing into a Fiora is an automatic feed & loss scenario for him, as an example.

I definitely don't recommend choosing him at all if you're first or second-pick in champ select because of this.

But other then that he's fun as hell to play when you're against even champ matches and his kit encourages you to take on his all-or-nothing mentality with your gameplay.

Camille and Xayah & Rakan as a duo lane are the worst cases of this by far.

I like listening to other champions in the game, it gives it life and personality and they even act as cues for the skills they're using or are about to use - but those 3 literally never shut the fuck up, even when they're just walking around.

While I understand that overly long or repetitive lines being on key abilities is really grating. That's my example is Brand's E voice line, you don't hear it unless Brand is clearing a wave or going all in with a spell rotation. Both of which are important to here a queue for. If that line was on his W it would drive people fucking crazy because he uses W to do everything. But that's the point, voice queues being on every single ability diminishes when the champion is actually doing something important. The ancient Ionian dialect we all love to meme about on Yasuo is because he says it every two seconds. If he only said it when he throws the tornado that would make sense because that's a big moment for the Yasuo player and his opponent and doesn't happen every time he casts the spell.

You're right though, audio is important for spell cues and I agree with that. I just think Riot is using it wrong because they're putting too much of it on mostly inconsequential or mainline spells that get spammed.

Garen and Singed also need reworks. They're both braindead champions like Tryndamere who stat check you and either slaughter you or just int to farm and still become retarded late game. These buffs will just make them even more braindead, not addressing their core issues.

Cho is the only one who isn't completely useless, and these buffs will push him even higher up. Now he'll be able to do more than just buy a Stoneplate and one-shot your carry with one button.

>His Q damage is doubled when hitting a single target. Mid-late game you can literally 2-3 shot squishes if you can hit your Q's. Not a lot of people know this about his Q either so you can really fuck your enemy laner up if they try trading with you.
