Echoes is an extremely flawed FE game that is a major step down mechanically even when compared to Awakening or fucking SD of all games. It really only has presentation going for it.

So I have 2 Summer Tikis, one is +Atk/-Res and the other is +Spd/-HP.

On the one hand the +Atk seems like it would be good if I ever get Brave Axe+ fodder, but 30 speed (25 w/ brave) kind of sucks.

On the other hand the +Spd one can get pretty good speed with Fury and a Hone buff, but 32 HP fucking sucks and would absolutely require HP+3 to make usable.

Which one should I use?

I got this small army of Corrin and Marth while trying to whale snipe on the Katarina banner. 5* Corrin and 5* Marth broke my pity rates but I did get a Ryoma out of it, along with too many Lukes and Athenas. Only ended up with 1 Katarina but ended up with -atk, not entirely a loss since I'm using Ryoma in TT and Arena runs and can use Athena as Wo Dao fodder.

I could easily apply most of this logic to every FE game in the series, where 1-2 range, killer and iron weapons were more than enough for all the GBA games, or in the case of echoes I could point out how the killer bow completely obsoletes every other bow in the game and the ability to use seraphim obsoletes all other magic.

Every single complaint you list is present in Echoes and magnified to an even worse degree. Awakening at least has things in the game that add to it's depth if you aren't using the water trick/grinding to cheese the game. That's more than I can say about Echoes, which is a game that lacks so much depth that LTCers won't even touch it since it's that lacking in gameplay and strategy.
