Second tank is needed to take the cleave marker during la chancla. Either that or giving the highest DPS shielding during it. Either way, the only reason 2.3k qualifies for 90% is because the vast majority of logs uploaded have tanks sitting in shield oath/grit the whole time, and that Lakshmi is very casual and easy content.
You can sit in sword oath as MT the whole fight and do just fine so 2.3k as OT is really bad, honestly.

Which DPS jobs are both fun and good?
SAM feels risky with how it might get nerfed and lose its purpose, I didn't enjoy 60 NIN very much but can't tell if it's much more fun at 70, I didn't care for SMN, BLM needs changes to make its 4.0 rotation actually worth using, and I'm staying away from DRG and MCH for obvious reasons.

The difference between a 95th percentile tank and a 50th percentile tank is that the 95th percentile tank probably is a tryhard who has the group make sacrifices for him while the 50th percentile tank cares more about killing the boss and boosting everyone else's performance than seeing his welfare numbers on fflogs.
