Would anyone be opposed to a 8/16 bit Neptunia game like you see in the ending credits? I think the dev team will be able to do a lot more with their budget. Superdimension left a really sour taste in my mouth when they brought back the factory dungeon and nothing Sega themed aside from the characters.

Hey, I didn't say it was good. From what I've heard, the anime suffers from various issues such as pacing issues and lack of character development. You know something is up when the abriged version has better pacing and character development.

The only way I really know SAO is through the games and even they have story issues.

Such as Hollow Fragment having Heathcliff as the final boss despite being supposedly killed off in the previous game as well as not being mentioned outside of that flashback. If he wasn't the main villian in the anime, he would literally be Necron-tier in terms of final bosses.

Lost Song had Seven shoehorned as the villain near the end of the game. Sumeragi had better build-up as the primary antagonist.

I haven't gotten that far into Hollow Realization but the plot is pretty out there with it being SAO but instead of players dying, it's the NPCs in danger.

That being said the gameplay is pretty fun.

Now that I think about it, Peashy is the opposite. She gained parents a little while before she became a CPU. She has Neptune and Plutia as her adoptive mothers as well as close friends, Nepgear as her aunt (technically), and Rei and Annoydeath, which she still thinks as her real parents.

Now this was well worth the $3. The game was surprisingly enjoyable. Maybe I just have a high tolerance, but I really had a lot of fun through and through. It helps to have Noire as a personal favourite, I suppose. Hell, I didn't expect to even like any of the generals, given the sheer number of them.The only annoyances were the traps and elemental chests. Nothing but absolute time wasters.

As a completionist, I'm somewhat disappointed by the lack of a platinum achievement. There goes the dream of displaying them all from each game. I'm quite curious why that's the case since every other Nep game has one. No cloud saves is also a bummer.

So... IF had already considered that Arfoire and Neptune from the first game but then went to redisgn them. Then use that Arfoire concept to RB1's true end and the Neptune concept went to VII (That adult Neptune concept also appeared in mk2's concepts).

Well, while the characters are largely the same in how they act, you do have to factor that HDN isn't the same dimension mk2 takes place in, so Neptune's actions there don't apply.

The entire ending is absurd, so you have to make some exceptions in your suspension of disbelief, but once the group more or less 'agreed' to go through with the Cursed Sword plan and Noire stabbed herself on it, they really couldn't stop. My memory of the ending is a bit hazy, but Neptune only kills an injured Vert, correct?

Will probably never happen, but the next spinoff game will be a Tales of clone with Tales Studio actually taking part in the development.

Obviously the main 8 are guaranteed in. Their artes will be based on the Tales character(s) that uses that weapon along with their EXE finishers from the RB games to give them arts unique to them.

Starting with Neptune, she'll largely get most of Luca's artes from Tales of Innocence (I don't blame you if you've never heard of him since that game or it's remake never came to the states. Plus he's the only character I know of in the Tales series that uses a 2h sword)

Noire's artes will largely be based on Guy's from Tales of the Abyss

Blanc's artes will be taken from Carol of Tales of Vesperia

Vert's artes will be a mishmash of Judith's artes from ToV and Jade's spear artes from TotA.

Nepgear's artes will largely be based on Kratos/Zelos' artes from Tales of Symphonia

Uni's artes will be based on Ricardo's from ToI.

Rom's artes will largely be based on Raine's from ToS while Ram's will be based on Genis' artes from ToS.
