Though it remains to be see exactly where A2 and Eve are going and how good they'll be for GL. If A2 is also a base 5* on the same banner it may be sticky.

The torment itself is not that bad. The jump start takes away his slight weakness to wind until he starts his counter heals. Aph's burst commands are coded as summon, which, as said in the post already, usually bypass counter attacks most of the times.

Players team go first each is able to take a number of actions each turn depending on their speed stats. The order each goes depends on the order in which they finish taking their actions, first come first served.
Once everyone in the team takes their actions, it's the boss' turn; it takes an ammount of actions depending on its star rating and any buffs or ailments cast on it. stun takes one of its actions from its turn and slow lowers its actions by half rounded up. So if it usually takes 33 turns and has slow and stun at the same time, slow will lower its actions by 2 and stun will remove the remaining action.

Supports are able to heal and apply buffs to the team with heart cards,
defenders are able to increase the team's resistance to elements by driving orbs(and if it has drive heal, heals the whole team)
Attackers lower yellow bar and health from the boss
Breakers remove the red bar.

When in a team you should usually try to have the healer go first, then the attacker, followed by the defender, and finally the breaker. Other orders can usually be more efficient depending on the team and fight status but this is the easiest and base order that should be followed to have success when starting.

I dunno. There are a lot of good siblings in Final Fantasy. I guess Zidane stands out in my mind most immediately aside from Edgar, though he doesn't really have many brotherly moments with his actual siblings like he does with the party members.

I wish Cait Sith's BSB gave a hastega. With Zack's Chain and Cait Sith's BSB, Shout is losing its importance for me. But I still need a hastega. I guess I could turn Ramza into an Entrust battery until I figure out what to do.

Does Faris get a hastega at some point? If I could get her relics that imperil wind + a hastega, that'd pretty much be the ideal party member I'd think.

People tend to pike xv more for the characters then the crap gameplay. 13 was bad because it was literally a line and then there was the fucking godawful characters. I liked lightning at first but she quickly became stupid and indecisive as her character arc. The person i hated the most wasn't vanille or snow or hope. It was fucking sarah. She was so fucking annoying in every flashback and the entire point of the game was to save her. Then she becomes the main character in two.

But for an ff game it was a bad fightimg system. The worst so far, the crystarium was just a lamer version of a sphere grid.
