Do dungeons still give a lot of EXP. One of my daily roulettes gave me a free level, but that was just Ifrit. Not sure if I want to grind out entire dungeons over and over.

Rampart and Provoke are the two skills you just absolutely need while Awareness works in tandem with Raw Intuition.
Convalescence helps with healing you and can swap out Low Blow and Shirk depending on if you're doing 4/8 man content

It can be grindy if that's how you want to go about leveling, but there's loads of content in side quests, the MSQ which is your meat and potatoes for EXP, crafting, hunts, sightseeing, fishing, and a bunch of other stuff. There's a free trial you can do, too, and you can get up to level 35 on it. There's other restrictions, too, but they're minimal. You can also be every class in the game on a single character, so no real need for an alt unless you want to play with friends on another data center.

Nothing you can do but keep trying. When you find somebody else that isn't terrible (assuming you're not terrible) add them and talk to them, attempt to join parties together or make your own. Eventually good players will outweigh the bad ones and you'll get your clear on top of maybe even making a couple new friends.

Protip, though: Susano and Lakshmi EX are the easiest EX primals to date. If they (or their clear parties) are giving you a headache now you better steel yourself for the future, because it's only going to get harder from here.

For new casual content they're actually really well designed. You should be able to figure everything out on your own in one or two pulls at the most, most of the mechanics are similar to current ones or very easy to figure out. It's fun, go try it !

Whatever. Almost 36 now. Dungeon spam is pretty effective/fast, and it's nice to kind of re-learn content after being gone so long. But I really don't miss dealing with randos this retarded. I thought we were going at a decent-fast pace to begin with

I'm going to begin just closing the game when I get aurum vale on roulette with first timers.

It's really just watching sprouts die to coin counter and then having to replenish ranks until veterans show up. Even if I explain the each cast step by step they still walk into/stand in the shit. Even if they halved his damage I could imagine this fight still being a wall for newbies.

With how much content is possible to be put into on the roulettes I can't imagine it would hurt to allow players to select a few exceptions for those queues.

Look forward to my next blog post where I talk about not getting the dog mounts yet.
