Felmyst -- the private Burning Crusade server created and fine-tuned by Gummy -- is finally going LIVE on July 21st at 3:00PM EST (12:00PM PST).

>What is this?
Felmyst is the most well-scripted private server to have been released, with a 1x leveling experience at patch 2.4.3. It has no cash shop, and is hosted right here in the US, meaning no more 300ms lag that foreign servers gave us.
>But won't Blizzard/Activision just shut it down?
No, and there are forum posts going into detail about their plans should B/A take any action.
>What about faction imbalance?
The developers are coming up with a solution for it. The most popular, but not official, opinion is to put a ratio cap on twin servers, preventing one faction from logging in if there are too many players of that faction online.
>Server Homepage
https://www.felmyst.com/
The home page directs you to where to download the proper client, and to register for the server.
>Are there any guilds yet?
None yet, but we highly recommend avoiding /vg/ guilds, as it is the most sure-fire way to avoid the /elyg/ trannies and attentionwhores.
>Is there a database for Burning Crusade content?
Felmyst does have a page for it, but their focus has been on tweaking the game to fix bugs, rather than updating it. For now, we recommend using Excalibur-WoW's database.
>Where can I get add-ons?
http://tbcwowaddons.weebly.com/
This has some of the most popular and mandatory add-ons available. WoW-Curse does not have add-ons in their history that goes back to before 3.0.2. There may be a safe github storage somewhere, but we have not found one yet.
>Is there a leveling guide?
Questhelper and TomTom exist in patch 2.4.3, and this is after leveling received a nerf to how much XP is needed. Guides are worthless, but if you need one, try:
