The gameplay is pretty fun actually. Its an oldschool turn based JRPG in a lot of ways, which I like, and the systems force you to deal with tactical randomness turn by turn in order to create a cohesive strategy over the course of the fight. Plus at least currently the highest level content, while easy, punishes mistakes quite harshly, which helps you keep engaged even with farm content.
If you know a phone game with better gameplay than this one I'd like to know what it is, I've played several before this that were hot garbage by comparison.

I've read the VN so many times it's pointless to count, all routes, even some of my favourite bad endings (I hope Sparks Liner High gets animated as a short after the HF movies) and I can honestly say thatFate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works were extremely well done series and I'm glad they were adapted.

I am being real, and I find your contrarian bullshit disgusting. Aside from CG use in the unlimited blade works noble phantasm, there was literally nothing wrong.
The pacing matched the visual novel, many scenes were elevated in detail with the use of physical imagery portraying the same emotion, and ufotable outdid themselves incorporating heavy atmosphere into every scene.
All the important scenes were spot on, 1:1 perfect.
It's not a perfect anime but it's still my favourite.

Pretty much completely agreed. I read F/SN back in 2009ish when I first started getting into VNs and to this day it's probably my favourite along with Ever17 and Rewrite (I like chuuni bullshit). The UBW anime, while not perfect, is literally as good as it could possibly get. Anyone who disagrees simply doesn't have enough context. I have seen countless VN -> Anime adaptations and none of them are as good as UBW was. In an absolute sense, maybe UBW isn't the most fantastic anime ever, but in terms of adaptations it might be the best to exist. You could make an argument for Clannad, I guess.

The meaning the sentence changes for the same reason that Excalibur is in tiny text above full-sized kanji that read "Sword of Promised Victory." Because stat differences, different level caps, and the stat growth curve for different characters make it very, very hard to compare things between tiers. Sure, we could compare Herc to MHX Alter, but at what values? At MHX's natural Lv90 cap, of course she outclasses Herc's Lv80 cap. But if you bother to grail Herc, then his ATK outstrips MHX Alter and half of the 5* characters. You can't exactly make a comparison between characters at Lv.30 or so either, because not only are their stat growth curves different (Herc follows a reverse-S and so has half his stats, while MHX Alter follows a semi-S and so is still dragging her feet) but because that is only a third of the way through MHX's progression, while it is getting close to halfway through Herc's.
You're probably better off just asking why a particular character is where they are, so you can make a fair comparison yourself.

The short version:
King Louis the 15th commissions this ballin' necklace (pictured in the card) for his mistress. Then the King dies and the mistress is banished. The jewelers are shit out of luck since they weren't paid in advance. They try to sell the thing to the new queen Marie Antoinette, but she turned them down flat and told the king to buy a warship with the money instead (because holy fuck was it expensive). They tried again later and she refused again.
Two conmen then get a brilliant idea. There's a Catholic Cardinal at the court who the queen really hates, and he wants to get into her good graces. So the conmen forge letters from the queen, insinuating that the cardinal should buy this necklace for her on the DL and she'll pay him back later. They also get him to donate large amounts of money to the queen's charities, which the conmen divert to their bank accounts. They even get a prostitute who looks like Marie Antoinette to pretend to be her during a face-to-face meeting with the Cardinal. By the time the bill comes due for the necklace and the Cardinal is asking where the fuck his money is, the conmen have already broken it up and sold the diamonds.
The French public blamed Marie Antoinette for all this. Mainly because they already hated her for being Austrian, but a lot of them really believed she orchestrated the whole thing to fuck with the Cardinal.

Blue saber has extremely high baseline stats, a +10% aoe attack buff and a +30% buster boost(which also works on her NP).
after finishing chapter 2 her buster NP goes to 400%.
She's one of the best clearers atm(and strong single target) simply because the OP shits are not here yet or require ascension 4 strengthening.
