The crew size fits (according to the codex, corvettes typically have a dozen crew) as does the size of the ship (slightly smaller than a light frigate like the SR1). Hey guys, I have a question: is there a way to generate a Mass Effect 2 save that I can use on my PS3? I am playing back through Mass Effect 3 on my ps3, but a while back my local save files got corrupted and I had to wipe the drive, but I would like to play through 3 again. Thank you for your time, and yes, I know 3 is supposed to be shit. I liked it a lot despite the hate and would like to play through it again, but I don't know how to do save fuckery for my ps3.

"So.... uh, how are they?"

Scott Ryder was a man with very little fear. He had done and seen thing since waking up in Andromeda he never thought that he would have to do back home. Eating turian made human baked goods made by the turian woman he was seeing was one of them.

Vetra, bless her heart, was doing her utmost to learn to be domestic following years of a very unconventional life. She wanted nothing more then to settle down and embrace life as just another person making their way in this new home of theirs. It would be enough of a challenge to do this with only her own race in mind, but in typical MO, she had decided that since she was now dating a human, she would attempt to incorprate basic human customs and skills into her new life just for him. It was a sweet, completely unnecessary gesture on her part, which was doing in turn. A little understanding of each other's ways would go a long way.

Today, she was learning to make basic sugar cookies. Chewing on one of them and ignoring the floury bitterness of it, Ryder could only say at least he was eating what amounted to a giant block of carcinogens from their first home cooked meal together. No, now he had to watch out for the heart disease caused by the sodium overload in these cookies.

Hearing footsteps behind him grow nearer, Ryder looked and found Vetra with two mugs of tea and a small tin of store bought turian treats resting on her mug, and a shy nervous looking smile crossed on her spread open mandibles.

Apparently, the only guinea pig in the room was him today.

Accepting the mug, he watched as Vetra set her own tin on the table in front of them and she sat down, leaving no space between man and turian. Swallowing another salty sugar cookie down, he drank the tea she made. It was a marked improvement.

Setting the plate down next to Vetra's, Ryder looked back and found Vetra was still waiting his judgement.

Vetra had told him in advance that she wanted his unfiltered honesty about her trial and error domestic education. She said she wanted honesty and an unbiased opinion, but what she couldn't seem to grasp was just how sensitive she was about these sorts of little things. Even the smallest remark was enough to make her feel bad, and that would make him feel bad and it would all turn into a big mess.

Realizing he had no winning scenario at this point, Ryder decided a new course of action for where to take this. He took another drink and set the mug down. He wrapped one arm around her larger frame; He slid a little closer until his chin was resting on her shoulder. Months into their relationship and it was still enough to make Vetra squirm with an awkward delight from this sort of affection.

"Brutally honest?" he asked her, his lips touching briefly against her mandible. She nodded, her mouth clamped close as his free hand rested on her inner thigh. "How much salt did you use?

Vetra looked at him curiously, her eyes flickering briefly to the hand, which its digits were stroking her in a slow, meticulous fashion.

"I.. well, I used what the recommended amount 1/4 teaspoon," she got out finally, now locking her attention completely onto him.

His lips clamped, Scott nodded at her and her explanation. It was all starting to make sense.

"...And do you know the difference between a teaspoon and a tablespoon, right?"

Vetra blinked, she looked from Scott, to the cookies, and back to Scott once again.

"Oh..." it slowly dawned on her. "Oh wow..."

To Ryder's amazement, she did not lose her confidence this time. No, instead laughed a small self-deprecating laugh. He did not join her. Mostly out of fear she would assume he was laughing at her, but he did offer her a grin.

As Scott nodded, he grunted as Vetra pushed him back off of her and forced him to lay on the couch, with him pinned under her, Vetra gently laid herself down on him, her head nestled into his chest ass Scott became what she affectionately referred to as "her stupid human pillow".

Scott didn't mind, at least he didn't have to eat the cookies now. He reached out and rand his hand over her fringe, watching as the turian on him sighed in a state of content bliss.

"You're best damn mediocre cook I've ever slept with, that's for sure," he muttered under her.


Scott felt her chuckle through his body.

"And that's all I ever wanted to be!" was all she had to say as they laid together in the quiet of their quarters.

I've only read 2033 so I can only comment on that.

It's a pretty good read, some of the parts are a little wonky since it's translated from Russian, and there's a lot of details/scenes in the book that are not present in the games. The books also contain a lot less action and are more psychological horror, if you're into that.

The ending itself is vastly different from the game, and not to spoil anything, pretty fuckin terrifying. I enjoyed it a lot, looking forward to what you think about it, assuming you're the same anon that was writing Metro Effect.

Tried to get Frosty Mod Manager working, to no avail.

Downloaded the most recent, even from the Nexus, na'da. When I click on the .exe, it just acts like it's loading, then does nothing.

Also my Shadows look like complete shit, even though it's on High.

Shadows on people look god awful low resolution. I don't remember it looking it really horrible in earlier patches.

Yet shadows that are from direct light seem to be okay.

It's explained in the codex. Everything moving beyond a certain speed is stopped (here's where my assumptions start) if the generator has enough energy stored to stop the kinetic energy of the projectile.

The codex notes that they're PROGRAMMED to only stop projectiles moving above a certain velocity. The example given being making sure the barriers don't push away a chair when you try to sit. Theoretically you could just modify the settings so it blocks everything rather than only coming up above a certain velocity. We see examples of that with the kett deployable cover, which you can't walk through, and various "force fields" that are just visible kinetic barriers.

I think that they operate off of a proximity/velocity sensor that only activates the shields when an incoming object is approaching at a velocity that the sensor deems lethal. Otherwise things as simple as a rainy day could fuck your shields.

I meant to say "geth", not kett. But the Collectors have them too. A lot of people do. There's a lot of doors blocked by blue force fields in ME1. They're just ME fields like kinetic barriers, with different settings.

Another thing to note: it is stated that the barriers work by slapping away projectile's, rather than just canceling them out or whatever. Also Incinerate and similar powers are explicitly blocked according to its text description (which notes that Incinerate sucks against shields), so by default barriers are seem set to act with projectiles above about 20 m/s. So an arrow would be blocked, but a punch wouldn't.

Wouldn't do anything, everyone's in a full suit with NBC protection and sufficient heat resistance that the armor can remain intact after orbital reentry. Incinerate works because as plasma it makes direct contact with the person and burns them directly. With shields up, it gets blocked because it bursts a foot or so from the target and doesn't actually touch them.

As bad as the facial animations, fetch quests, and bugs are in ME:A, I really did enjoy the Alec sidequest and finding out what happened in the MWG. Too bad we'll never find out who the Benefactor is, since there probably won't be a sequel
