Magic don't work as good when you're armored for some reason. Some mages do wear it though.

Currently the only penalty I can think of is the alteration armor spells not working if you're armored.

The included patch for OOO in latest COBL version is for OOO 1.32 - is that still necessary if I use OOO 1.40 and OOO Extended? I suppose I'm just worried it'll interfere with the changes made by the newer versions.

How do I level up magic eaiser after following Squiggums' 69-Step Oblivion guide? Asking be I've been using bound dagger repeatably to level up conjuration and also weak fireball in battle to level up destruction. Also are all creatures levels now based on location?

Okay I'm having a bit of a problem.
Last night I made a post saying that a certain armor mod was always active even when disabled, overwritten by another mod, or outright removed from MO. I reinstalled Skyrim hoping that would restore the old vanilla meshes, but that doesn't seem to have worked.
For reference, the mod in question is the UUNP remodeled slutwear and the one I'm trying to use is pic related.
I'm seriously grasping at straws here.

How do I make my CBBE morphs (not bodyslide preset, the in-game morps you change in racemenu) apply to my characters clothing? Someone told me I can do it in bodyslide but he didnt actually tell me what to do when I open it.

Did you delete the game by right clicking it on steam and pressed uninstall? That only deletes steam downloaded files so it left the meshes folder in the datafolder. Also, did you you press shift+batch build in outfit studio and directed it to build the meshes in either the MO overwrite folder or a into a folder in the mods folder od MO

Nathyn: A Dunmer with a Redguard father who inherited some of his characteristics, which led to him being shunned by his kin. The loneliness that followed him throughout his adolescence has transformed him into a bitter, jaded, cynic. Though he has trouble expressing himself to people, he was able to find an outlet through poetry, and travels around Skyrim selling books to people.

Sam and Jeanne: Twins who followed different paths. Jeanne took after her father and became a talented warrior and devote Vigilant of Stendarr, while Sam took after his mother and became a mage. Around the time of their 20th birthday, Sam began to show signs of mental illness, similar to that of his late grand father, The Homeless Knight. He left the family and seems to travel around Skyrim at random, killing any in his way. Jeanne seeks to find her brother and find a way to heal him of his affliction.

Vadian: Once a ruthless Thalmor officer known for his sneer and use of a dagger to slash throats, Vadian became an outlaw when his daughter was kidnapped on the Skyrim border and the Thalmor refused to send a search and rescue party after her. Over time he's warmed to the Nord people but still hold animosity towards the Stormcloaks, killing any and all he can find. The Thalmor currently have a bounty of 50,000 Septims on his head, but as time goes on and the Thalmor corpses begin the pile up, the price seems to be going up.

In the screenshots that I see for extensible follower framework, I see a lot that have sort of a control wheel on the screen. I assumed that would be pretty obvious when I downloaded the mod, but I can't quite figure out how to get that to come up. Most of mods like this use an MCM menu that let me bind a key such an option doesn't really seem to be obvious. Is there a separate plug-in that I need for this? Or what am I doing wrong?

There's Superior Lore-Friendly Hair but that's just a retexture of vanilla hairstyles, if you want SG hairs on all female NPCs I think you're out of luck. There are NPC overhaul mods that give them apachii stuff but I don't know of anything that uses SG.

With All Natural it's been raining in the game for a while, and that's fine, but trees suddenly have really bad pop-in, like they're using the absolute lowest possible resolution LOD until I'm almost right in front of them. I haven't done any LODGen, but I installed Improved Trees and Flora, which iirc contains new LOD for trees. Did I accidentally a setting?

Also dropping from 60FPS to ~20 with Immersive Interiors, but I think I'm going to ditch that for now.

the problem with this is that the races change a fuckton from game to game

for example, imperials in morrowind are roman as fuck. in oblivion, they're more of a generic western fantasy staple. in skyrim, they take on italian qualities (darker complexion and even the names in many cases); the roman characteristics seem limited to military hierarchy.

bretons are also a generic western fantasy race and the only thing that seems to distinguish them outside of game mechanics is the fact that they have french names (which isn't always the case in skyrim). I haven't played TES:O so maybe that expends on it.

you're spot on about redguards but they also have some pretty obvious mediterranean vibes as well. it's like persians + age of sail.

dunmers are part pure fantasy, part chinese. ashlanders precisely are obviously mongols. the ancestor worship is a dead giveway.

I've always thought of khajiit as gypsies.

I started a new game, and I'm trying to do the DLC more or less in order just because of the fact that every time in the past I've tried to do the DLC I get distracted and never complete it.

The only problem I have with this, going through Dawnguard that Breton chick inventor whatever wants me to go to fucking Solstheim to upgrade my crossbow. I'm planning to go there eventually so it's not a huge deal except doesn't going there make Miraak start appearing and Steal dragon souls from me when I go back to the mainland?

And since you have to do those radiant quests in order, that means I can't get a Dwemer crossbow without starting that and going through all the Miraak bullshit. Is there anything I can do?

I'm not a good artist by any stretch, but my recommendation is to start with light lines and then darken as you feel more confident in them. Your lines seem to suffer from a lack of understanding how to make strokes. Get used to rotating your paper so that you can draw curves comfortably. There's a lot of fine motor skills to drawing, but even if you're super shaky, you can get a decent curve drawing with the arch of your wrist.
