Im not even sure how people new get servants, everytime I roll all I ever get is a shitty CE, even with 10 rolls BAM more CEs.
I only got Waver because I rerolled for him like 50 times, but everytime I use tickets or rolls I only get CEs.
All my other servants come from the pity Friend Points from whoring waver, so my entire teams is a bunch of 1s, 2s, 3s and the pity 4s Herc and Lily...

Pretty much you should save EVERYTHING right now, period.

If you have a good 5* like Waver, go wild and level him all the way to get a lot of FPs, but otherwise don't waste mats at all on anything, much less on 3* servants past their first ascension, enough to get them to level 30 or so making them useful to clear dailies.
Im not bullshitting you, the more you save now the less you will need to grind when you hopefully that 5* girl/boy you like.
I can't stress enough how important is to save shit right now, be it QP or crystrals and quartz, specially after seeing to many anons go broke on the first gatcha.

Just buy the 5 tickets each month and never ever spend them.

The thing with all those 1* memes is the japanese gacha law.

A game has to have every content clearable by f2p units.
It's not allowed to have events where you need gacha stuff to beat it.

Thats why in every mobage you'll have some low rarity units that in the right setups can meme all over events.

Most times getting those setups to work requires either endless and inane grinding and very specific units.

With the help of some funded quartz, I just farmed AP dailies for specific items in super long sessions. I used Artoria and Emiya/Eliz to quickly clear the first 2 waves and then fought the bosses or last wave like normal. For bossing, if the boss wasn't the boss I wanted (for the case of the dragon vs demon for reverse dragon scales, or Artoria vs Eliz vs Gil for saber monument) and none of the drops were good, I just withdrew immediately to save some time and repeated. I wanted to quit so many times T~T. Survival was possible with Soylent, Fate OST, and Tales of Symphonia Battles OST.

The law for Gachas only says you shouldn't need to roll multiple of a character to get their "Ultimate/Final Form" iirc. Meaning you'd have to roll Altera twice to unlock her final ascension. I mean they kinda do that with NP levels but I think that's a loophole

Lancelot is more team and CE dependant than Herc, which is why he's less used. That being said, with a defensive support to keep him alive and someone to feed him stars (as long as you level his first skill) his damage output will far surpass Herc's. The main barrier to using him ideally is getting a hold of a Kaleidoscope. Once he can NP on his own he doesn't need quite so much help getting stars.

So, I have a plot related question.
Why do Servants help Chaldea?
I mean, in a Grail War, their motivation is to win the Grail and get a Wish. That's easy to understand.
But why collaborate with Chaldea? There's nothing in it for them. They are all already dead and even if muh humanity is gone there's still a gorillion other Parallel Worlds where humanity still exists and last but not least they are still chilling in the Throne which outside of time itself.
So why? It becomes specially perplexing when you start to take into account Servants that aren't moralfags like, say, Arthuria or Jeanne.

As for the Kaleidoscope that's just the ideal. You can get by with Imaginary Element+Waver support but that typically means passing up on a dedicated tank or defensive buffer since you'll still need a star generator for him to get rolling, so it's possible to get screwed by RNG deciding to focus him down.

Spent about 90 orbs trying to get Gil. No such luck. I'm done spending orbs until Jeanne alter comes out.

So how good is Caesar really? Should I invest in him if I already have Altera?

Who should I use as my secondary fighter for fast wave clearing?

My 1st is a level 70 saber with her NP++ interlude and a kaleidescope. She's guaranteed to wipe pretty much anything unless its a 40ap archer atm.

My support is a 70 waver that im mooching off of.

I got a few choices with an imaginary element.

Without his interlude to up his NP and only being level 40 it feels like he just doesn't have what it takes.

>EMIYA (ascension 2, NP 1, upgraded NP via interlude)

Seems like his stats are high all around, buster type NP means it hurts.

Lower stats than emiya by a significant amount, but her NP is higher though, however it's quick-type so eh the modifier is only half as good as the buster type of UBW.

Since I only have kaleidescope + imaginary..
