So I just picked up the new run of The Scarlet Judge and all I can say is: "What the fuck?"

First of all, SJ is a dunmer and has ALWAYS been a Dunmer. What the fuck is up with making him some Redguard N'wah?

Second: The Scarlet Judge is supposed to be a skilled fighter with rogue-ish talents and uses two-blades. But this guy is sprouting dragon wings, flying across rooms to smack people with some ugly greatsword and i'm left wondering "where's the tension?"

Haven't played the other alliances yet, but from what I've read here, Dominion are basically fucking ruthless monsters who completely disregard the value of any lives that aren't theirs (and even then sometimes only of the high elves), the Covenant are pragmatic as fuck and willing to use necromancy in the battlefield or corrupt the land they fight over for an advantage, and the Pact are basically fucked because they're not willing (or maybe just can't, since most of their magic appears to be more on the "natural" side) to use that kind of power to attack someone, yet still can't really unite their forces as well as they should because of the centuries of mistrust between nords, dunmer and argonians. Closest comparable thing they did was release a huge daedra to defend them, and then seal it again.

Food? On my magsorc I use red frothgar, with the vamp passives I have just over 1600 regen. I also have more CP than you, 75 in arcanist and just shy of 75 in tenacity, coupled with shock staff heavies I only get low on magicka when I am in burn phases or need to recast my shield and aoes repeatedly.

I haven't tried my magblade in almost 150 CP, maybe I'll give them a go later, as I have almost the exact same gear set up as you do.

Can anyone confirm to me whether or not the game can run on vista? I'm getting a lot of conflicting information. Most sites say the OS isn't supported, but a dev post from last year says that the game should run fine so long as everything's updated. Got undaunted rank 9 with the passives yesterday, now have the medium illambris to make use of the last passive. I could have 40k magicka, but I prefer to use the red frothgar drink for the higher magicka regen. At this point, my main body 5 piece is all set, have the medium shoulder so I can work on a better trait, head is heavy divines. Just need to run MoL for moondancer jewelry and get lucky with a maelstrom lightning staff for my back bar, and ideally another for the front bar.

First time completing it all in one sitting. I usually break it up into portions, but I was doing well with no deaths, so I decided to keep going. Died the first time on stage 7 round 4, got poisoned during the two troll bosses and the healing pool was on the other side. Then I died again in stage 9 round 4, got hit by an ogrim fireball and two white ghosts at the same time. Third death was against the final boss, broke one crystal, and I started to run counter-clockwise to get to the wall. I didn't see that the wall spawned behind me, so I didn't make it in time, got tossed into the lava at 30% health, then ate a crematorial guard fire breath while getting out of the lava, which broke my shield. All things that were preventable, so I'm getting better.

The score is not worth an extra weapon probably, but all I care about is getting better. And I got another ice staff, this time nirnhorned.

Where is the best place to murder npcs? Less guard and faster spawn rate

Yes hello excuse me. I bought it awhile ago and got bored instantly because none of the classes appealed to me. The new Wardens seem fun though, I like Druids, Druids are cool. What's the current state of the game? I think I'll give it another shot.

So i just got into this game, finished up stonefalls and heading into the Rift as a level 14 sorc. Everything kills me now, I dont know what the fuck Im doing wrong, I thought it scaled or something. I've barely managed to do the first few quests, probably died a good 10 times doing them.

Should I go somewhere else?

Is your gear current? As you level, your gear gives you less armor and bonuses, so you should try to keep it within a couple levels of you. While leveling, don't worry about sets or weight of armor, just equip what is close in level. Same with weapons.

The game has a ton of new players thanks to morrowind. If you left before the one tamriel update, know that everything scales now. So, you can quest wherever, kill wherever, group with whoever, etc. Don't like a zone, don't do it. Want to go to another factions area, do it, do what you want. The new warden is alright, makes a decent stamina based character, a good tank and healer, and an ok magicka DPS. Probably going to get some of their magicka skills buffed.

I think some of my gear is underlevel, I'll look into it when I feel like booting the game up again.

I'm using the first skill from storm, encase from dark magic, some destro staff skill I dont remember which one, lighting form thingy from storm and a pet from daedric summoning (its not morphed yet because I just started using it), for ultimate Im using the other lightning form - its the only way to kill packs of 3+ for me.

Do I need to plan my character from the start? Or can I respecc everything at max level if I noticed I fucked up along the way?

Once you level up and get surge, morph it into power surge. And level up ward and morph it into hardened ward. Get the thief mundus stone for more crits. Congratulations, you should never die. You get major sorcery buff, and while power surge is active you get healed every time that you crit with a one second cooldown. Every tick of blockade of elements (should be using a lightning staff), every tick of liquid lightning, every tick of shock clench, every tick of lightning form AoE, every tick of your staffs light/heavy attack has a chance to proc this. With all of your DoTs, you should be proccing it on cooldown. Heep hardened ward up, and you are good to go.
